This is probably the intention, but the devs could always handwave it away by saying that she is talking to Pulonia for some reason (or that she is justifying her actions to herself, which would be slightly more in character since by this point in the story she hasn't fully admitted she wants to save Columbina).

I was playing it in the JP dub, the EN text confused me, but hearing her say that in JP it was fairly clear.

I know it's supposed to be Sandrone talking to us via breaking the 4th wall, but I see this scene as her being schizo and talking to herself, which makes it even funnier. Love my schizo robot girlie!
