Yeah, but....you forget something: Wanderer already explained that removing the Core of a Puppet can cause a Factory Reset.
On top of that, we've see it in action already. Chard (Aino's Workshop Angy big bot) has the Core of the Curve (The Fontaine Mek Sandrone was interested in, and cut the Tongue out of her Subordinate when he fucked up everything physically possible with the retrieval) and doesnt behave anything like Curve, having fragmented memories of his creation and not Recognizing Traveller.
So, currently....its 50/50 As to wether or not "Sandrone" comes back if her Core is given a New Body.

Yeah, 'can' being the keyword. It's not a guarantee but given Wanderer's core was fine >!after Pulonia got absolutely manhandled and tossed around, I find it hard to believe Sandrone's isn't. Curve had his entire body blown up then ripped around by ocean currents, it makes sense his isn't functioning right. Hoyo wouldn't entirely change Sandrone's personality beyond her probably not being as snippy like how Wanderer was still a douche after his Irminsul reset but not outright a piece of shit!<

The thing is more about the fact it will likely be a >!Sandrone 2 than her having an outright different personality. One of the point of wanderer is that a puppet core isn't their heart but a rather independent part but still needed for them to work. If it was really just a revive and back to regular, Arlecchino wouldn't keep other in the dark, so there is a strong chance Sandrone 2 might have some meaningful differences while still keeping a general similar overlay as you pointed out but the fact remained that she was not just reset but killed, even those that read her notes still treat it as such. So it will likely be a new beginning but more in a literal sense than the one took by Wanderer!<
Also Pullonia isn't really the same approach as Sandrone, Sandrone was to make a human like puppet based off Mary-ann, Pullonia is what Alain left to watch over her. Sandrone attachment to Pulonia seem more about what Pulonia means to her than Pulonia being like her.

Ehhh.... My thinking is that Alain definitely could have attained mechanical ascension (as opposed to Rene's mystic ascension) but chose not to because "The Narzissenkreuz Institute needed someone, and a human being, to see its story through to the end." But Sandrone is his life's work, the embodiment of his beloved sister and she literally scanned all his manuscripts. I'm really really inclined to believe that Sandrone can self-restore.
