Who should I pull Nefer or Flins?

Im planning to get columbina and thinking which team i should build around her. Im playing genshin after 6 months now so i dont have any lunar characters. But planning to get either nefer or flin. What do u guys think?

Assuming i will go for the supports needed for those teams who should I pick? Which team is good?

Nefer is tricky to use, while flins is easier to use. Cant say about dps output, but flins is easier to use for newer players,

2 Skill, 1 Ult, few normal atks, 1 Skill and 1 Ult, then rotate to hydro and electro character to apply each element and restart flins, columbina and ineffa work nice with flins too

In terms of dps and aoe damage output what do u think?

I only have flins, so can only talk about him, his ult does aoe dmg. I can crit and get 100k and 160k consistently, (he does 2 atks *sort of*) but he isnt built *really* well, so could do more. Nefer can do some good dmg but it depends on her setup. I'd recommend to watch videos and see how each play out.

If you are new to the game, you can wait and try to get Varka, he has been the most anticipated character since the launch of the game, and he may be even stronger than nefer and flins. But we dont have any info on his kit yet, but should have more info in the coming weeks.

the varka leaks are out! his kit and gameplay are all out rn. info seems to be a bit confusing, as rn his damage seems to be very underwhelming, but this might be the community misunderstanding his kit or he just might need some buffs :)

assuming you have their intended supports, flins has higher dps with lower investment and is easier to play, nefer has a higher ceiling if you are planning to get a quite a few cons but she will always be more difficult to play

with their best supports, nefer and flins have almost the same damage output. nefer might do a bit more, especially more with investment, but not needed. i’d choose whoever you enjoy more, they’re both suuuuper strong and do about the same damage output. one upside to flins is that ineffa has a shield so he’s not as squishy as nefer, but nefer and lauma serve so i chose them ^_^

If you get the supports, I'd say it's a matter of preference.

Flins is easier to play to maximize his output, but he's also not as powerful (his damage is roughly the same as Ineffa's damage lol). His best team is basically a Columbina+Ineffa wheelchair where he's getting carried less than non-NK characters.

Nefer relies more on cancels but her potential is higher. That being said, Lauma makes Columbina an almost-Nefer already so if you want to play Columbina on field you could ignore Nefer entirely. She does reach around 100k dps on her own, a lot less than Nefer's 140k+ but on par with the Ineffa wheelchair except on-field instead of off.

Zibai is also a pretty good option. Since she doesn't have a dedicated 5-stars support her base multipliers are higher, meaning your damage floor will be higher. Illuga is very optional until C6, the issue will be which other hydro/geo characters do you have to complete the team. Geo espcially isn't a popular element lol.

TLDR:
- Columbina on-field: Lauma and that's it
- Columbina off-field: Flins easiest, Zibai easier, Nefer a bit harder but they're all very very close to each other so it's entirely a matter of preference, pick the gameplay you find the most fun.
