Time to speculate on what will happen after Act 8 (SPOILERS!)
Things have ended mostly well for Nod-Krai, but Sandrone was KIA'd and I don't think we actually finished Dottore off. Could be we only killed a segment. That "to be continued" glitch-out seems to suggest he's still around.
As such, it's time to speculate on what will happen next.
My thoughts:
* Dottore will retreat to the abandoned hospital zone in Dornman Port (the one described by Liben), where he'll get help from the Lawrences in licking his wounds. When the Knights of Favonius learn about this, they will decide it's finally time to disband the Lawrences once and for all, and will march in full force to Dornman Port to both topple the Lawrences and finish off Dottore.
* Dottore will again seek the Traveler's "help", but this time it will be with regards to their starship. He kept saying he was bored with Teyvat, which made me believe he was seeking their cooperation so he could use the ship and travel to new planets to "study". Even with the three moons' power, he wouldn't be able to use the starship on his own because it cannot be accessed by any power from Teyvat; only Aether and Lumine can use it. Of course, this time around, he's not gonna be *nearly* as courteous about it; I anticipate he'll do something like kidnapping Paimon and using her as a hostage.
* Sandrone will be "resurrected" by doing a quest in Fontaine, perhaps with Aino being the one who reactivates her. We've still got to get her playable, after all.
* Pierro will pull some kind of operation in Natlan in order to retrieve the Pyro Gnosis.
* During the next Inazuma event (if we get one; RL politics might block it), we'll learn some tidbit about the Electro Sovereign.

Then again, in the doctor's sphere with our 3 boys when they found the human body with the animal beside them, the music and graphics became extremely distorted and glitchy. Maybe dottore is a part of that glitch at the end too. But who knows. But sure thing it was extremely creepy.
