Natlan archon quest is unbearable

I’m still in the third chapter, but GOD it’s so unbearable, even corny.

I love natlan, I love the map, I love a lot of characters but the story has something about it that makes me so repulsed. Especially compared to Fontaine and Sumeru before it.

Idk if it’s the story telling, how the characters act, Mavukia’s design and lack of aura, how the informations are dumbed randomly.

Not to mention the overwhelming amount of female characters compared to male characters, but that’s irrelevant compared to how much I dislike the story.

Am I the only one with this opinion?

If you're new here, I would honestly suggest just not interacting. There have been far too many posts attacking anyone who liked or enjoyed Natlan for the past year.

Do I really care? Meh It's just a game, but a game I enjoy nonetheless. Honestly, I kind of enjoy defending Natlan. It's fun, I loved it. Played in JP, so there was little to no cringe of the english voice over either.

I think Mavuika nails the design and so called "aura" but agree to disagree.

Yeah, natlan did that one part of story telling well. But story still is flat af: people die en mass, heros come together and save the day via a little jump to the future and the power of friendship. A story for little kids dreaming about being born a hero.

Not comparable to let's set up a 500y stageplay incl. involuntary actors to trick the highest authority to fullfill a curse they once put on people in order to destroy one of the 7 pillars that keep the world order in check and by that, giving back the initial authority to the ancient rulers from who the highest authority stole it from to beginn with.

But guess it's obvious why you prefer natlan story so let's leave it at that 😊

All I am gonna say is Natlan has had a very mixed reception some people absolutely loved it some hated it.

People saying mean stuff to u over a harmless opinion is very common here BTW, free game attracts kids and they lack nuance.......BUT u also need to know that the topic u are bringing up has been brought up like millions of times at this point and because of that people may get a bit frustrated...

Again Ur are not wrong Natlan AQ was very decisive, I hope u do the major Word quest with ur little guy tho that was honestly the best World quest so far.
