...wow this is some good Copium.
Not to mention the sky was opened, dottore was messing with space + time, and entire moon is now under the false sky, so I'm honestly surprised they didn't intervene tbh
But if she had full dominion over Life and Death, couldn't she revive Sandrone? Or rewind her time to before she was mortally wounded (if Robots aren't subject to being considered life or something)?
There is two options on why she couldn't revive Sandrone (She actually says she tried reviving her but nothing happend on her character story):
Either for mechanical beings death is considered your core being destroyed and not body because you can live just fine by your core being inserted to a new body. In this case she wouldn't be able to revive someone that isn't dead.
Or Teyvat's laws don't consider mechanical entities as "life" because they don't have souls hence they can't be revived by the power of Death.
edit: Changed the domain from "Life" to "Death" at the last part. "Life" is more abou the living creatures themselves rather than being alive. "Death" is the domain that takes care of that hence it why also revival is in its domain too.
Trilune is never portrayed as having dominion over Life, because in the Dragon civilization, the authority was held by Hydro Sovereign.
It's now 50:50 between Neuvillette and Rhinedottir, but Shades most likely can't interfere with whatever Neuvillette do, as Neuvillette is now outside of HP law/Fate system.
Could this power really do everything? What should she use it for?
She felt that the things she wanted to do were almost all within the reach of the three moons' power: Moving freely between the moon and Teyvat, effortlessly transporting herself and other objects, making flowers bloom more brilliantly, causing fruits to grow fuller...
She even tried to wake Sandrone up. But that was one of the few things this trilunar power could not accomplish for her.
As for everything else, she either didn't want to do it, or she felt that she shouldn't.
What she loved was the way this world and her home looked now. Changing it at will just because she could, molding its appearance and rules to suit her own whims... She felt that would be wrong. No matter how good her intentions, doing so would make her no different from The Doctor, she felt.
She regarded this world as her "home," not as her possession, and there was a great difference between the two.
So she offered a portion of her power, that it may continue to protect this beautiful home as it always had. The part she kept for herself needed only to allow her to live happily with her friends, as before, and to guard what she cherished when necessary.
In that moment, Columbina suddenly understood the choices her three elder sisters had made. Rather than seeking to "rule," what they had wanted most was simply to "protect" this world beneath the moon.
Could she say that she was their little sister, after all? The thought brought a sweet sense of harmony.
It felt almost like an inherited trait, or perhaps a "family tendency" moon goddesses had.
A warm feeling rose in Columbina's heart at the thought. She seemed to have again discovered something she had longed for:
The bonds and legacy shared among family."
> What she loved was the way this world and her home looked now. Changing it at will just because she could, molding its appearance and rules to suit her own whims... She felt that would be wrong. No matter how good her intentions, doing so would make her no different from The Doctor, she felt.
If she truly does have power over Life, Death, Space and Time, then this is outrageous to me. This is not a utopia and there is so much unjust suffering happening in the world. Those with power should be using it to help those without (with great power comes great responsibility, as Uncle Ben would say).
Is everyone else aware of this too or is it like a secret?
It is touched upon many media like Matrix that what you call Utopia only works on paper. There is no happiness without sadness, there is no joy without boredom and there is no peace without suffering. Creating the Utopia you desire requires extracting all free-will from the system and making it a well oiled machine with no freedoom in it. As long as there is free will what you call unjust suffering will be born as an emergent property of said free will.
Instead of taking away free will if we put strict rules on everyting and if Columbina smites down any mortal who breaks the rules, like she herself puts it She becomes no different than Dottore and HP who already walk that path. After all at the end it boils down to "Mortal breaks my rules thus i punish the mortal." but who is to say hers, mine or anyones notion of Utopia is correct or same with anybody elses? You just end up forcing your ideals on other people in the end which is the point Columbina makes.
Edit: Cleared the senteces a bit.
And it's interesting you mention the Matrix. Neo is also a godlike power, but he actually uses his power to systemically change the world, not just hang with his crew.

Of course she shouldn't be controlling people to the extent Dottore/HP do, but absolute free will also doesn’t exist. Our will is always limited by biology, the situation, society, and the actions of other people. Power will always interact with the world, and those who have it will naturally influence freedom. Even refusing to act would still be a choice with consequences.
But I haven't thought too deeply about what the rules of Teyvat should be, nor do I think I can write anything thorough about it. What I'm suggesting is not that extensive. It's simply about acting to prevent unjust fates (e.g. the eternal curse of the hilichurls). That wouldn't erase agency. In fact, it would restore it to those who’ve been robbed of it.
That's why I think Wanderer and Dottore's plotline is not done. Wanderer even says that he feels like he has a chip on his shoulder. Like something is still not right even if he thinks Dottore is dead.
Night of the Doctor
Day of the Doctor
Time of the Doctor
More importantly, this quest actually gave him a reason to burn the Irminsul: he did not recognize the identity of wanderer when he showed up and saved us. This is unacceptable to Dottore, because he thought he already ascended to godhood and therefore shouldn't be affected by the rules of Teyvat anymore.
people used fucking grok to "decypher" it and it spat out some bullshit it stole from stranger things.
1. dottore is alive and kicking somewhere in a different segment, and irminsul is close to burning as shown in winters nights lazzo 2022.
2. shades are starting to going awol, but through loopholes in the rules to not disobey their creator as stated in the gods limit animation.
3. the mention of teyvat being more detectable to outsiders means that movement is being made on them.
4. HP woke up due to a gnosis. wild theory but i'd assume dottore probably used a gnosis to simulate the third marrow. we never did learn what he used to power it other than likely using kuuvahki. we just know that his artifical one was destroyed in the blast, but don't know what he really used to create a third. simulating the moon's frequency is one thing, but to replace the thing itself is another. the moons are also all likely incompatible with each other in terms of roles so he couldn't have just used "extract" from both to make a third.
Watching him get punted around was fun, but we never really got something like a "scara watching the gnoses detatched" or a "signora last second of desperation" face.
I do think that this it's a good start for his downfall. He had a taste of real power, still has a moon marrow (I think?), and now he lost all that along with his station. Hopefully we get to see what happens when a man like him gets pushed to a corner
- It has the "rewind" sound effect you could hear during his bossfight (specifically it played when you depleted his HP and he just filled it back up)
Soo, yeah. We'll be meeting again, Dottore
He is not dead. 🥳
