Hat Guy says Sandrone always has a back up plan. Keeping her core intact then going into a new body housed in Fontaine is such a Sandrone thing to do. Its why she trust Arlecchino to be the one to bring her core there

Same question
Some theories suggest she'll be reincarnated or something I don't even know if that's legit
But remember at the end father said that >!Sandrone made preparation for her core at fontaine!< So we can wait and watch.

>!In addition to the request for Arle to bring her core to Fontaine, her notebook's most recent entry mentions that she "Iterated on her self-preservation mechanisms". So I have no doubt that she was expecting this outcome!<

i see it!

absolutely. plus, Hat Guy mentioned that Sandrone always had backup plans for her endeavours - she was a genius in her own right, there's absolutely no way she didn't realize how likely it was that she wouldn't make it out of that fight unharmed. That would also explain why she didn't look panicked when she actually 'died' either, just rightfully furious.

She's going to outdo her creator with a new better body since her core probably entact. Im suee shell gloat about how she did better too, trust the cope

this is some of the most reasonable cope I've seen in a while - you could be better off calling it a good theory haha

Someone will build her a new body.

If she really was a genius, she would have already done so and it's just sitting in a display case/storage for a rainy day.

Considering she's a robot and was "only" stabbed, it's pretty easy for Mihoyo to bring her back if they want. Literally just a case of "the Institute repaired her with the notes she sent them".
But I admit, that would just cheapen a lot the whole emotional impact of her death. For narrative reasons, I hope she's truly dead and gone (and that's after having warmed a lot to her in this quest). Just like Dottore, please don't fall into the "the bad guy always find a way to survive", it's just annoying.

Honestly, just being a machine gives you a HUGE leg up when it comes to resurrection plotlines. One of the major perks of being a robot is that you can be repaired - true in real life as well as in fiction.
When a robot dies in fiction, the writers generally have to go the extra mile to ensure that the audience believes they're actually dead. Like vaporizing or melting the whole body, or some kind of techno-jargon to explain why they can't simply just be rebuilt.
They didn't do that here, which, honestly, made the mourning by the other characters feel a bit unsatisfying. It felt so evident (to me, at least) that Sandrone's death was only temporary. Then again, maybe they feel - possibly correctly - that there's no one else alive who COULD repair her. (But Aino's right there! Can't she at least have a crack at it?)
