In-game, probably a deliberate design decision from their creators. Shogun needed to pass as Ei's double, so if Ei visibly breathes, Shogun needs to as well.
Aino has made various modifications to Ineffa, such as making her warm to the touch so that her hugs feel better. She probably thought Ineffa looked weird unless she breathed.
Wanderer's harder to explain. He was a test prototype, but I guess natural breathing was part of what was being tested?

It's a gif. I downscale the gif to 512x512, then downsize it to 500kb or less. After that, convert it to apng format.
After you have your apng file, go to old reddit site, find the profile page and set that apng as your pfp. Voila, your pfp is now a gif :D
