Checking my math (Lunar Reactions)
I got fairly lucky with my pulls and got both Columbina and Ineffa, so now, for the first time, I can seriously start building around lunar reactions (mostly lunar charged, at least for now). In trying to understand the math behind it, I found it hard to find a straight answer behind how the numbers are calculated, and I just wanna be sure I’m understanding it correctly.
Let’s assume Columbina and Ineffa each have a 70% CR, for simplicity. The formula does its thing, calculating whose base damage is higher, giving one of them the full crit rate and the other half the crit rate toward the final calculation.
Half of 70% is 35%, and 70%+35% should result in a slightly overcapped CR of 105%, guaranteeing a crit on all Lunar-Charged damage. Do I have this right, or do I need to look at the formula again?
