Wait wait wait. She says "The moment the moon shattered" implying it happened when they were back outside. But they were already dying when Columbina freed them meaning it had to happen immediately after.
Someone suggested what shattered the moons is actually Columbina taking the Authorities from the Irridescent and Eternal moon and hiding them in the Frost Moon and not HP. This might be an evidence for it.
