[SPOILER] wait so this is still inside the false sky?
We can clearly see teyvat from the frost moon and columbina did mention that the frost moon is now inside the false sky. So is this view from inside the false sky? That would mean that the false sky is much bigger than we thought?

now i wonder where celestia is.
They must be retconning the false sky to be much larger then if it extends far enough to host an actual moon.

~~Edit: Forget Skirk trailer. Dottore tore the veil at what seems like atmosphere altitude level, matching the other two examples.~~
Edit 2: Doctor scene of him opening the rift showing frost moon before the fight is probably more of a wormhole situation rather than tearing open the actual fake sky since after rechecking he does it pretty much near ground level.
>thats just what you imagine bc its easier to grasp
From what we saw the False Sky surrounds planet at upper atmosphere level. We saw how Skirk entered from outside (red space) and was right inside atmosphere and where there cracks trough which we could see cosmos . But somehow Frost moon is now inside False Sky while being far away from planet(space is not red). It's either Hoyo being bad at portaying thing unwillingly or they are confusing players on pupose.
After watching again Dottore fight and Skirk video I came to idea that there is possibility that the thing right beneath False Sky barrier isn't real atmosphere. It looks like it, has clouds, orange color but... that's the first thing which Skirk enters, while she is visible on Teyvat sky(as a star) there is night and stars are visible on the sky. We fight Dottore in same setting as which Skirk enters and Moon passes here the Red border too. So if Moon is inside barrier but still in space then maybe False sky surrounds entire solar system. This layer which looks like atmosphere is right below Red barrier looks like that just to fool players into thinking that False Sky is just above the planet
But then why TF is Nod-Krai borderland region? Teyvat is a planet so it shouln't have edges, even Moon far away from the planet is still within borders but this region is close to border?
Like wherever one was supposed to see "sky" or "space", the False Sky replaces that with what it wants you to see, like what the Irminsul does to knowledge.
>"On Phanes, or The Primordial One"
The Primordial One may have been Phanes. It had wings and a crown, and was birthed from an egg, androgynous in nature. But for the world to be created, the egg's shell had to be broken. However, Phanes, the Primordial One, used the eggshell to separate the "universe" and the "microcosm of the world."
Then, there's the inspiration of universe inside egg (dark souls/angel's egg etc)
This has to be outside the false sky according to what the writers wrote previously.
Basically the planet should should surrounded by a giant cloud of red Abyss miasma. The false sky is a dome covering a small part of the planet to protect the last remaining healthy part of the environment from the Abyss space cloud. The rest of the planet not covered by the dome should either be a wasteland or have a lot of red moving dots and red/purple Abyss corruption seas.
This scene makes it clear that no one at Mihoyo bothered to actually read the story and make sure the visuals matched the details of the story.
The space authority literally creates subspaces that when u enter them look much larger on the outside than on the inside, the same probably applies for the fake sky thing, hence teyvat, as we are aware, is a subspace in itself (that's why they have absolute control over the physical world inside them).
Ofc we still don't know where teyvat is, how u reach it and so on.
Also if they at would look like that then it means the abyssal power would be the center of the world, as the khaenriahns found it digging down, but it also said it came from outside, but the center isn't the outside, the same as the leyline stuff comes from inside the planet which means invading forces come from the center which would make sense if they at was in a regular space.
I assume that the "center" or whatever is basically some sort of barrier the subspace has that's why it is also an access point to the world.
I assume there would not be a need for a fake sky if there is normal universe outside and you could literally just look inside from the outside, observe everything and everything is easily accessible.
Also the light source in that sky didn't really look like a sun to me but rather like the source of light energy that sustains the realm but this is just pure speculation and probably is just their choice of visualizing the sun
