Playing through the newest archon quests had me thinking
The way I would have fallen for the manipulation hook, line, and sinker… Traveler is lucky to have a moral compass and the endurance to keep putting up with Teyvat’s nonsense, since I’d already be so tired of it. Why not join the crazy guy? Why not become a god?

So if you’re saying you’d agree, you’re agreeing to kill everyone on teyvat and then play second rate god in whatever messed up experiments he decides to do going forward. Then when he’s done with you, or if he gets bored or even makes a mistake like he did during the quest or something, he can just make you sit in a dark void for millions of years if he wants.
You’re agreeing to be a genocidal maniac and a toy for dottore. You’re a weird and shortsighted person if you’d go along with that lol
Good thing with how they wrote him. He was a very believable and realistic villain.
his term of deals doesn't even require you to have moral compass, thinking it a bit more you would realize that his deals only benefit dottore since in hypothetical case you accept his offer then everything and anything quite simply in his hands alone.
traveler would hold no leverage if their ran out of their use and if dottore bored from his grand experiment then nothing could stop dottore to dispose/leave traveler alone in darkness or world that have been hollowed from his grand experiment. only dottore simp would actually willing to accept his deal
A manipulative liar does nothing but lie.
He prattled on and on about how we would become a god and do more experiment. The player is given the impression that Dottore will become omnipotent and omnicient. But none of that happens even when Dottore gains all of the powers he wanted.
He was soo up his own arse believing he is the only one that is right becuase of how smart he is, yet failed to understand why the Traveller rejected him, why Columbina rejected him etc...
I am not talking about flaws in the character Dottore but the mistakes the writers made while writting Dottore.
Heck, he brags multiple time that he always gives everyone one chance, but he breaks that rule after giving the whole monologue about it. He had access to the primordial powers of Teyvat and all he did was run experiments while the Traveller and Co planned against him. He was also easily fooled by Sandrone with her world formula.
He was setup to be great, the whole Nod Krai story was revealed to be everyone dancing on his palm while he secretly made preparations for his master plan. Putting Rerir together, weakening Columbina, almost catching Bina, getting the two moon marrow. All of that was amazing and showed why you should fear him. But this patch he was just meh. He literally did nothing. Sat back and waited for the traveller and Co to come up with a counter plan.
To me Dottore was a villian but a cliched villian that thought he was great.
When in reality he wouldn’t stand a chance against the big shots
I honestly thought the reason why he was playing Darth Vador on us was because he needed the power of a descender, even the moon goddesses were no match for the heavenly principles
So even with that power he got, dottore would still get dog walked by Phanes
He could have captured the traveller all over again and studied them, torture them, try to break them. Instead he decided to monologue.
Didn't know talk-no-jutsu can be used to lose as well.
he talks about a world without struggle yet also turned people into animals
that man had absolutely ZERO good intentions with that power,
Yeah anyone would pass.
