Going on ANOTHER boat trip is most definitely THE LAST thing he'd want to do
PlacetMihi2026-01-15 21:47
Aether: “You’re a sea demigod, I thought you’d like to go boating!”
Percy: “You’re a space alien, would you like me to chuck you into orbit?!”
floricel_1122026-01-15 21:50
Oh, I was referring to Odysseus
Lumine_Alatus2026-01-16 03:56
Hey, if Ody and Penelope can wait 20 years.... then Aether and Lumine....
RipBitter47012026-01-15 22:11
Dark sea, but if there are more land then shouldn't it be......Dark Continent?
Admirable-Volume-4042026-01-16 00:15
Wasn't there an NPC at Port Ormos talking about monsters at thr sea?
Aegillade2026-01-15 21:54
Genshin Impact 10.1: Sailing update
AerospaceNinja2026-01-16 09:45
Our own planet is like 70% water. Idk why they wouldn’t do at least 60% for a fantasy planet
EmeraldDrake_0012026-01-15 18:02
What about the Golden Apple Archipelago? Shouldn't it be somewhere between Mondstadt and Nod-Krai?
wolfhunter1352026-01-15 18:32
i simply took a map and edited it in paint and uploaded it to [https://woowspace.com/MapToGlobe.html?i=1#modalUpload](https://woowspace.com/MapToGlobe.html?i=1#modalUpload) feel free to edit in the archipelago where you think it is and make a better version than mine.
TheVJElectro2026-01-15 18:04
Its circumference is like 1000 times smaller than Earth's (taking into account the distance between Inazuma and Nod-Krai is close to 30 kilometres)
wolfhunter1352026-01-15 18:49
i think the world in lore is bigger than the game world and that it has to do with limitations of game development.
Even if they could make a 1:1 scale of the planet, they would be unable to make enough intresting places to fill the continents.
the only problem is they basically took the in game map and projected it on a globe instead of making a more realistic version. like seeing lights from the capitals is fine but seeing the aquaducts is not realistic.
Aegillade2026-01-15 21:58
Scale theory is pretty common in video games. It's when the world the player can interact with is physically smaller than it is canonically due to hardware limitations. Runescape is one of my favorite examples of this, the distance between the cities of Varrock and Falador is maybe like 3 minutes if running, but in the novels it's a 2 day ride. Falador also is supposed to have a population of 40,000 in lore, but it has like maybe 40 NPCs in it in total.
Informal-Hyena73872026-01-15 23:00
Every open world game is like that. I mean, is IMPOSIBLE to mape a whole real planet, it would be like 999999999 tb
For example, real life los angeles is like 100x the size of gta v los santos
kzzzzzzzzzz282026-01-16 01:19
Spiderman, does it with New York
Horizon definitely does it in both their games(Forbidden West has both Vegas and San Francisco in the same map)
mee8Ti6Eit2026-01-16 12:14
Maybe the aquaducts are just that big
wolfhunter1352026-01-16 12:24
From the ISS (low earth orbit) the pyramids of giza can be seen with good gear. At least according to google ai.
So seeing aquaducts from the moon, even if teyvat moon is a lot closer then ours is hard to believe
Informal-Hyena73872026-01-15 22:58
Yes, if we take this seriously this means the planet is ridicuously small, like the size of the asteroid tht killed the dinosaurs, around -50km of circunference
a celestial body of that size isnt spherical lmao
kuroskiwii2026-01-15 18:48
So the summer resort is Hawaii
ohoni2026-01-15 20:01
So if the scale on that globe is accurate, the sea distance from the nearest parts of Natlan and Inazuma are closer than between inazuma island and Dragonspine. You probably should be able to see parts of them from each other.
I did expect that Snezhnaya would be a bit lower though, less "arctic circle."
wolfhunter1352026-01-15 21:55
I hope i accindentally made the map to big on the globe because otherwise teyvat feels very small and i also want expansions in all directions.
AggressiveMedia95352026-01-16 20:59
By simply looking at the Teyvat planet in the quest, it seems like this version is indeed bigger. Mondstadt is low-key placed lower in the game version, quite near the equator and in your case it is at subpolar zone (i assume from the gif)
Gwyn_Michaelis2026-01-15 22:02
[Here's the image that was used in the quest itself](https://i.ibb.co/bgYmm6FZ/Teyvat-from-the-moon.jpg) straight from the game files, in case you were wondering.
wolfhunter1352026-01-15 22:14
The dorman port expansion better have more land than what is shown here😭 it's so tiny
Ciba_2026-01-16 00:52
I believe the Dorman port is the whole part north-west of Mondstadt city that’s covered by clouds there, that part on the right would be wayyy to small
SANSbura_xD2026-01-15 23:58
Where can I find that in the game files?
Gwyn_Michaelis2026-01-16 00:01
Not sure. This was obtained courtesy of jelenas\_vault/432 on Telegram.
SANSbura_xD2026-01-16 00:05
ok, thx
BleedingUranium2026-01-17 01:40
Thanks so much! I was hoping someone would datamine it! :)
Top-Idea-17862026-01-15 22:06
The texture for the map actually got leaked, it does show dornman port but everything else is hidden by clouds
spankpewdiepie42026-01-15 22:50
Fake, teyvat is flat. Columbina faked the moonlanding
CreepyGuardian032026-01-16 11:10
Stanley filmed it in the Mare Jivari
dominokrak2026-01-15 23:12
Can some wise sould tell me of the location where Columbina takes the traveller at the end is accessible after or just one time treat? Ngl would love to go back there and just look at the world again
cielrayze2026-01-16 08:06
what if we are in the under side of the moon
OriginalYou92782026-01-16 11:56
still coping that this map is inside the borders so naturally you wouldnt be able to see the entire continent and just teyvat
