After the recent Lore drop in the archon quest. Can someone summarize how they came to be for me cuz im confused. Like they got separated when they fought Unknown God? But our character said hibernated in the ship for thousand years. Then sibling is 500yrs in khaenriah? I lost track of the events.

There’s a theory that this scene is the end of the game not the beginning, so it hasn’t happened yet.

I’m not sure if i believe it, but the more traveler learns about the past the less this scene makes sense lol

It literally makes sense though, When the Cataclysm started, the sibling decided to wake the traveler up to leave, but was stopped by Asmoday.

And ever since that the traveler has saved teyvat like 10 times.

Maybe asmoday and the shades need a descender to change the fate of the world so it doesent end because phanes is too asleep to do it.

It would make perfect sense. Specially since the traveler has been allowed to do learn and say a lot of stuff thay would normally be punished.

Hell we got the before sun and moon book that got enkanomiya destroyed in our backpack.

It didn't happen at the end, you tell Paimon about being separated, that's the last thing you remember, Nahida or Neuvilette (can't remember which one) tells you about Asmoday going missing, then we got the trailer with Shades and they also talk about Asmoday missing and how she likes her new master (many people go crazy and say it's Paimon lol). So, nah, the theory doesn't really stand that well

Siblings fly past Teyvat in their ship "thousands" of years ago (Abyss sibling maybe leaves at this time? We don't know for sure)

The ship with MC (and maybe the Sibling) crashland on Teyvat sometime ~500yrs ago (pre Cataclysm).

The Abyss Sibling either leaves the ship before the MC OR was already on Teyvat from thousands of years ago.

The Abyss Sibling becomes the Prince(ss) of Khaenri'ah and Vinster King does his Abyss experiments on/with them -> this power gets stolen/used by the 5 Sinners.

Cataclysm starts and the Abyss starts pouring out of Khaenri'ah, the Abyss Sibling plans to help them defeat it until Direidyth shows up telling them that the MC is looking for them, and shows them a hibernation key to prove it.

Chooses to leave Khaenri'ah and reunite with the MC, they wake the MC up, they both attempt to flee, which leads to the image you posted.

Abyss Sibling wakes up before MC, travels with Dain, encounters Chlothar & Caribert, becomes the leader of the Abyss Order.

Gonna use Aether as the Mc here for easier explanation.

1 - They were travelling over Teyvat, according to newest ship records, traveler assumes that was 1000's of years ago, and while they were crossing over, the Abyss twin ejected/summoned out of the ship and landed in Khaenriah and Lumine lost her memory.

2 - Aether was still on the ship and the ship continued traveling the universe and after 1000's of years, it looped back and forced landed on Nod krai, Aether now was asleep in a crashed ship.

3 - On the other hand, Lumine while in Khaenriah, begins to regain her memory of Aether and tries to find her brother but couldn't do so (Most likely cuz Aether at the time was still in space while she searched).

4 - The end of Khaenriah came close and Lumine was going to defend it but, before she can do anything, she met with Deridith ( The Npc girl ) that Aether met in 5.7, she told Lumine, i found your brother (A lot of time shenanigans happened, you'll understand better if you've done that quest).

5 - Now Lumine was in Peril, either she defends her new home or go find her brother whose location now she knows, she chooses to abandon Khaenriah and go with her brother, the moment she goes to the location she finds Aether still asleep inside the ship. She wakes him up and tells him "Lets run"

6 - This is where the beginning of the game starts, both of them are trying to leave but Asmoday catches them.

Oh yeah as someone mentioned above after Asmoday puts Aether in the cube, the Poor guy goes back to sleep for 500 years 😂 and Lumine begins traveling with Dain and becomes Abyss princes while bro is napping.
