For most people, saying "I consider you as family" is an expression of familial love, or a deep platonic love, for someone who isn't already related by blood. While it’s true there are some obvious candidates that are ship-baited with the Traveler (Ayaka, Bina and Citlali to name a few), I think this is a really reductive approach to a game with so much lore /world building and other fun aspects. Where is the enjoyment and nuance in a game where you only see dateable characters everywhere? Also, if you really wanna go down that road, characters like Xiao would have to be included in this "harem” too because of their romantic implications. I said what I said.
