I just found out about Genshin's "Top Up Center", is it okay and safe to buy the BP here? I've only used Codashop so seeing how we're able to buy BP outside the game and in the Top Up Center made me curious.

I wanna know if anyone has tried buying BP and other Genshin currency through the top up center, is it okay?

yeah, it is literally the official method, but stuff like LDShop and codashop are also safe and they are cheaper for various reasons

This is the official site.

as long as it's from [hoyoverse.com](http://hoyoverse.com) it's always going to be legit. any other topup website could be safe temporarily, but is 100 against tos, it's just a matter if hoyoverse is able to catch you.

3rd party vendors offer you lower prices by buying it in their country at a lower rate to give to you and they pocket the difference. Even if the credit card is legit, one company profiting off the work of another company by undercutting them should be an obvious red flag for anyone.

if from profit perspective: things like LDshop would be a lot more profitable for mihoyo than apple or android shop, whatever the currency difference those website profit are no where near the 15% or 30% google/apple tax for every transaction.

that's why i am mostly only top up in PC end, at least i know the money went to developer.

Agreed, and not to mention pc is the only device i have genshin downloaded on

yes, this is the official method. other top up sites like lootbar actually use this, they use a different currency to get lower prices, so that way they can sell it to you at a discount to the standard prices while still making a profit

You can't actually gift currency through the official site to an arbitrary UID. Hoyo has deals with 3rd party sites to offer cheaper transferrable currency but in exchange the 3rd party site shoulders the cost of any credit card charge backs.

It's the official one. It's there to bypass the tax they get on apple and google store which is why they offer a 5% discount. They get paid more and you pay a bit less so everyone wins is the idea.

you believe that the official site to top up is *less* safe than a 3rd party site?

Use your brain.
