In my opinion, Genshin could be much better
I think it would take only a little work for Genshin to become better, but if they did it, the game would be 19192891919% better.
1. If in one patch they gave 80 pulls to F2P players, it would be much better, because at least there would be a chance to get the character you want.
2. Dialogue skip (because there are people who don’t have much time but still need Primogems; this function would be very good for them. It’s great that the game has a skip function, but it’s not available everywhere.) 3.For me, the most important thing is that dead characters should be playable—for example, Signora or Capitano. This isn’t just for them; it could also apply to the three Moon sisters or Ranova, who is my favorite character. If they were playable, the game would be even more popular.

If you want to skip the story, you shouldn't get the primogems. What, you want to skip exploration and spiral abyss and get the rewards too?
Dead characters being playable is something the devs obviously don't want. They've said multiple times that they want gameplay to be as coherent to lore as possible.
Neither Capitano nor Ronova are dead.
The game has already saturated its playerbase. There's been a considerable decrease in marketing recently, because there are like no more new players to get.
Like, if you actually liked the story, why would you be so insistent that going through the story is *effort* that you had to expend, and should be rewarded for?
Maybe I'm weird, but when I actually *like* a story, following it is so effortless I don't even notice when I've cut hours into my sleeping time.
If you hate the story so much that you consider it to be *effort* that needs to be rewarded, maybe you should quit Genshin and find a less story centered game? Or at least something with a story that you don't consider to require effort to consume.
Edit: It's like, if a restaurant had an offer, you come in and eat a (free) Wagyu steak, and we'll give you $5 after you're done, and when someone says "hey, can I just get the $5, I don't really want the steak", you get mad that they didn't go through the *ordeal* of eating the Wagyu first.
Your reaction only makes sense if you really hated Wagyu steaks. And also didn't understand that other people actually really loved them.
As for dead characters being playable, this game cares a lot for the consistency of its lore, that's something that just would never happen. With that said, Ronova will have her time, you're jumping the gun being too impatient. Sit back and wait like everyone else.
Yeah, I especially loved how you couldn't even pull for Columbina until you finished her quest, because that'd be inconsist-
Oh, you could just pull for her and play her immediately?
Never mind then.
> I'll not address free pulls or "people need primogems" because that's lack of self control at this point.
The lengths this subreddit will go to to avoid admitting that Mihoyo does paywall real content - teams and combat gameplay.
I’m full F2P and I have most of 5-star characters. Would've had more if I didn't also roll weapon banners.
Of course I'd like to have more free stuff too but implying that F2P have it bad and saying that you need XYZ primos every patch makes little sense. You can easily get most characters that you want if you don't have a gamba addiction and you don't roll every single banner. If you only play for 30 minutes once or twice a week, no amount of free primos will help you when you skip all events and whatever.
You've also probably been playing since 1.x.
The vast majority of pulls have been limited time pulls, be they giveaways or daily quests. Anyone starting now would be lucky to have a quarter of the characters you've accumulated.
> You can easily get most characters that you want if you don't have a gamba addiction and you don't roll every single banner
Ah, there's that strawman this subreddit loves to burn, the idea that the only reason you'd want to pull a lot is if you have a gambling addiction.
There's obviously no way anyone would want characters to unlock new teams and gameplay.
Then again, if you actually did acknowledge that people could possibly want characters for any reason other than "I just love this specific character", then you'd also have to acknowledge that people would have a legitimate reason to want more characters than they could reasonably get as a F2P, and as a result, a portion of the game's content - characters and teams, is paywalled, and Genshin isn't the magical amazing "one good gacha game where all of the content is available for free".
>The vast majority of pulls have been limited time pulls, be they giveaways or daily quests. Anyone starting now would be lucky to have a quarter of the characters you've accumulated.
This is irrelevant. I would gladly refund half of those characters given the chance, I rolled because there was no characters to pick from and there was literally nothing else to do from Mond to Inazuma. You do not need to collect every single character. You can collect stuff as F2P, you just need to have restraint and realistic expectations.
>and Genshin isn't the magical amazing "one good gacha game where all of the content is available for free"
LMAO, okay.
Unless, you know. You want to try out different teams.
Oh, right, I'm sorry, enjoying gameplay over story is just a gambling addiction.
Sadly, you aren't ragebaiting, your opinion is unfortunately common around here.
Have you tried this basic self reflection technique of just replacing the subject in your argument with something you cared about?
Like, "you can get one quest of the "seal away the ancient evil" archetype for free, so why would you possibly want or need more of them"?
Where is your reading comprehension?
>You get free characters for *most* team archetypes
And I see you're ignoring the point where even if you have *most* of the team archetypes, people might still want to play different variations of the actual teams inside the archetypes.
Like you just because Natlan already had a "we need to seal away the abyss" story archetype, people still enjoyed the "we need to seal away the abyss - Rerir ver." in Nod Krai.
Oh, right, basic empathy. You're lacking it.
Also, I like you in your original post, you defend Genshin by saying that you got most of the 5\*s for free, but when it's pointed out that that's not something everyone can expect to do, you immediately move your goalposts to say that actually, you didn't even care about most of them so it doesn't even matter if you can't actually get most characters for free. Ok, sure, but then, why even act like being able to get them all was beneficial to begin with?
