How should I go about "fixing" an account

I am a player who left a few months ago and am considering returning to the game out of renewed interest. Part of the reason I lost my interest in the game was because I had a meta team but failed at building it, instead of getting the optimal artefact sets I instead just kept grinding until I had the main artefact affect + at least two of the secondary ones.

my first team consists of: Mavuika, Citlali, Sucrose, Bennet and I also got Xilonen but she is level one and unbuilt.

my second team consisted of: Keqing, Furina, YaoYao and Raiden shogun

all of them are level 80, have a full 5\* artefact set, but not optimal stats. When i did spiral abyss I got roughly half way through with this team. Mavuika also doesn't have a good weapon. \*\*I am planning on trying to fully and properly build the Keqing team, and pull new meta characters as they release, and trying to make do in the abyss until then.\*\*

Any suggestions on who I should pull coming up? I have \~13 pity and a guarantee. I have done nothing in Nod-Krai.

Look at guides on how to build characters instead just guessing and half assing things is a start

I let go off Meta ages ago when i realized this game is gacha pure and simple. And TC sheets arent a real thing we have Wonderland now to test teams.

Pick someone and roll with it and have good enough builds doesnt have to be optimal just good enough thats it. Only started playing because of Arlecchino. First 5 star was Ineffa

I got Bennet on the Durin banner (while also getting Durin on the same pull but havent used in him in a proper team yet).

Cleared that abyss because it had good matchups. Was it Arlecchinos best team? No. did i care? F no. I Just slapped on 2pc 2pc for both, instructor on Benny

Honestly Ineffa alone over Yaoyao can definetly bring the Keqing team over. Yao yao isnt worth it as you need damage on that team and Raiden as the driver (though either works here). Like if you have Jean

Here is it Meta Meta? No but thats legit the two teams you can have with proper fundemental builds

For Alrecchino? Straight away it was 2pc 2pc. My artefacts are dog water on her like 75/200 its just that Bennett is kind of the GOAT

Another thing to do, is to select the two DPS you want to use and see which team could go well with it.
Your first team seems nice and for buil, first focus on main stats, then upgrade to Sets ( try to do both if you can).
Second team, I'm not sure it's optimal damage wise but could be interesting to play it.
Overall, as suggested previously, check for guides just to understand how your characters are contributing to team damages.
