What is the welkin moon? [Spoilers]

What IS the welkin moon exactly? Columbina show's up on the welkin moon item in the store, and her title is "welkin moon's homecoming", but what about a physical welkin moon?. She's now the trilune goddess but her moon is still the frost moon, the welkin moon isn't an actual moon that exists.

Welkin literally means "the sky which appears to an observer as a dome in which celestial bodies are visible; the firmament." So the "Welkin Moon" is just the moon that's in the sky, which is now the Frost Moon.
