Why isn't clorinde in the likely category? If anything they wouldn't put escoffier in the chronicled wish since she's such a strong buffer and also not that old.

i put escoffier higher because shes a dedicated support and clorinde is a dps but idk. I didn’t play clorinde much but she has good DPS!!

Aint no way in hell they'd throw escoff on the chronicled. That is an absolute no for the next several years.
May be a hot take, but even Neuvillette and Arlecchino have a slightly higher chance to be added than Escoff does.
Clorinde is very likely to be added, considering Varesa is a thing.

the set rules for a character appearing in CW is that they have had 3 runs and not an archon, so all except for Neuvi, Esco and Furina would be in it

yea that's the official rules for characters to be put into CW, they announced these rules when they announced the first run of CW in 2024, there's no meta related reasons for a character appearing in CW, the only character that had to break the rule was Shenhe for the last Liyue CW because in the 4 years since her release, she only had 1 rerun, so they put her in CW and then gave her a 2nd rerun some time after to finish out her 3 runs.
it's done like this to keep the steady flow of new banners while allowing reruns of other characters to happen and not clog the ever growing roster release schedule.
