I finally got 90 Interwined Fates. I haven't even gotten past the first archon quest line. (Took forever) What should I use it on, more experienced players?

Hello! If you’re a new player, I suggest you DO NOT mind the meta first because not only does it take away the fun, but also because it’d be hard for you to farm since most of them are from nod krai + natlan. I suggest you go through the archon quests, enjoy the interactions per character, and find the 5 star you actually think you love.
But well, if you really want to pull now, then go for columbina! She’s good even with geo characters as they give luna charged (higher damage definitely!)

Yes, you can get through all the story content basically with just starter characters so don't sweat it.

What also work decent on the beginning:
Do the character tryouts. There is a menu with this compass-ish thing, where you can test out characters.
If there are more banners going by, youll get to experience different team types. There are a lot of fun reaction and some play very differently. (Chevreuse for example likes Overload teams with only electro and Pyro characters and buffs them)
Try out some combinations and then pull pull for who you like and what works with them.
Youll probably start looking for someone onfield, that deals damage (dps) and then maybe a subdps that deals damage from off field through their abilities/ to get your elemental reactions, maybe a healer or a shielder for survivability, or someone that buffs the dps you have.
Everyone has some role, so you just need to find out the role and then build something around them that works decently.
Do mind, that you still have good time befire the banner ends, so just look at some characters if youre intrigued by them and think it over. Youll definetly find someone fun to play/ character whose personality or else you adore.
You can also spend some pulls on the banner (big if: if the 5 star appeals to you) to maybe get some of the four stars. But which one you get is up to luck. Fischl is quite fine as another electro unit for overload for example, but dont waste pulls trying to get her, cause there is no guarantee for 4-stars. You could theoretically never get her.
If you like the four stars/or atleast two lets say, you could do some pulls to try and get something.
But I would still wait a bit, to decide if you want the five star. Cause if probably no, then dont pull. Youll be dissappointed if you get someone you didnt really want.
