Haven't seen anyone fighting over this. It is also objectively better for players when the signature isnt miles better than every other option.
And finally by this logic Furina's weapon is much higher priority to rework.

There's no real fight over it, the calcs are clear.
Main DPS columbina gets a massive boost from her signature, and the energy refund makes it similar to the F2P options (but still slightly stronger) as a sub-DPS.

I haven't seen anyone contend her weapon. Community seems pretty aligned on this: Columbina's signature is her Best in Slot. The only discussion I've seen is whether she *needs* her signature, or if she can perform just fine with alternatives.

Not really, her signature is meant for DPD Columbina while support Columbina has many F2P options which aren't bad in comparison at all some are even better. If a character NEEDS their signature to function then that's a poor design but if they have several good options it's not a bad thing

Fighting? Columbina's weapon is clearly best-in-slot for her, there is no discussion about it. With very few exceptions, most signature weapons are BiS for the character they are intended.
The point is: we are not rich, and we can't pull weapons for every character. So we question: is it worth it, considering my limited Primogems?!?
And the answer for virtually every support/sub-DPS is NO, it's not worth it. Weapons are a luxury pull. Constellations are usually a better vertical investment. You only pull for weapons if the character represents more than 60% of their team total damage, such as Nefer, Skirk, etc. I'd argue that even Flins weapon isn't worth it, because Flins isn't a carry, he is just another Ineffa. Flins team is just a double Ineffa team.
