Another game already has the concept of breaking the sky, so there's a theory. Will the false Sky break and be destroyed near the end of Teyvat chapter? (Probably if the Heavenly Principles/Phanes are defeated)
(The real sky will likely be more darker and more menacing)

You should really spoiler tag stuff like this, its been a while for the quest, but not everyone has experienced it yet.
So even if the story ends up leading to HP being defeated, a new false sky or barrier would need to be made to keep the "outside forces" from destroying Teyvat
Dude, there isn't a single original idea in Genshin Impact. Literally every single aspect of this game can be found in other games, books, animes or mythology. That doesn't mean the narrative will take the same path.
Even adaptions don't have the same story of the original.
