so, according to the latest AQ, mondstadt/liyue/inazuma and sumeru/fontaine are in opposite hemispheres?

based on the relieve we can see in the planet, we can notice that the part were mondstadt, liyue and inazuma are located is in the hemisphere where its currently night, wile the other hemisphere (sumeru, fontaine and natlan i guess) is currently in daylight

That doesn’t split them into different hemispheres. They’re close enough that at a different time of day they could all be experiencing day or night at the same time. This just shows they’re in different time zones.

The dividing line between the western and eastern hemispheres in our world is randomly placed (or rather political/historical), unlike the north/south division which is based on the poles and equator.
