Help with a puzzle

spoilered because it’s the new Nod-Krai area. does anyone know how to do this puzzle? I’ve been trying for like an hour and idk how to do it please help. we’re supposed to get the slothsheep on the other side but the plant thing only works if you’re like at the edge it won’t let you cross it.

pick the plant right on you, walk half on the upcoming path, drop it on the path, glide over, pick the other plant, walk on the path, drop it there and then click on the animal and drive it over

You can tap the button beside the burst to release it, it will be put in place and path wont move.

the worst part is, you're basically bringing the slothsheep to a slaughterhouse when you give it to him. not really a slaughterhouse but it died because someone brought it to a place without kuvaahki or something. basically same as bringing it to the slaughterhouse
