Then people found her moon and created Khaenriah Kingdom where her moon is.

It then leads to the Cataclysm event that almost destroyed Teyvat again and killed several gods and the creation of 5 Sinners, Abyss Order and the Fatui.

And what about nibelung who upon leaving teyvat and was thus outside of phanes influence, got corrupted by the abyss and came back warped.

The abyss ain't friendly, whether it's dragon, human, god or the like. It messes with them.

We have a chronic disease in sumeru created by just knowing it that harms individuals who never even encounter it and were just born cursed by it.

We have several creatures like durin who were made with he abyss and end up going on a rampage across mondstadt.

We have the dragons themselves like apep who described the abyss as an apocalypse. Keep in mind this dragon was one of the most adaptive things.

It's as useful harness a hurricane for wind turbines. A force of nature you can't control.

Khaenriah was there before her moon falling down there tho. She is the one that make people establish Crimson Moon Dynasty and then collapsed when the astrologist saw the truth of the world throught abyss, and the remain of Crimson Moon Dynasty being hunted like what Rerir job did.
