What is that one Non-meta character you don't regret pulling Even when everybody else said you shouldn't?

mines Zhongli He was my second five star on my account I was able to get C2 during that banner and he just made early game so easy and he made it. so I really did not have to dodge which was a good thing because I play on a very old tablet that lags a lot the most. the time I didn't really have to worry about dying when it lagged he was also very easy to build

Also an honorable mention is when I purposely pulled for Ifa Because he makes travel so much easier and exploration. so much easier. not to mention he's just fun to play, especially if you're going to put him on a team with his bro Ororon

Probably Clorinde for me, I don't think she was ever meta, at least not the "must pull" level.

There were only Keqing, Cyno, Raiden with 2 constellations. Infact with Clorinde release, ppl started to realise and complain about Electro Dps don't having high personal multipliers (Until Varesa).

Chiori. Admittedly took her to C6R4 and grabbed C3 Xilo for her so she is absolutely bananas, but she is still the least pulled unit in the game (average).

IMO, Chiori is still one of the prettiest characters in the game, in a traditional sense. Stylish, good fashion(of course), and is all around pleasing to look at. I'm hoping lunar-crystallize will bring her some much needed relevance again, because I do enjoy her combat, but geo keeps getting powercrept. None of the meta geo characters are used for their geo, just for the support or protection they bring to others outside of their element.

Kokomi since she carried me through so much content from her release during a time people were like -100% Crit rate?!? WHAT!?! and the idea that sustain was not really needed that much with shields and bennett and such that otherwise would be impossible for me to finish. Even now found a home in Hyperbloom Lauma or an Escoffier fill-in for Skirk.

Kokomi for sure. When she first released, she was the butt end of everyone's joke. Back then, I still stupidly built pity, and accidentally pulled her. Before I knew it, I was using her in nearly every one of my teams, and I still use her to this day. If you listened to the theorycrafters, you would have believed that your account was dead if you pulled her, but look at her now. Solid as a rock and just as reliable.

Ayato. At launch he was seen as at best a Childe sidegrade and he’s long been upstaged by Neuvillette.

He’s just stupidly comfortable to play to the point where I just keep building bigger and bigger wheelchairs for the guy.

Ahh, there's so many. Probably Yae, I got her on Inazuma's chronicled banner, long after she was last considered viable, just so that she can sit pretty in my teapot next to Raiden. Honorable mention to Ayato who I got off the same banner to reunite with my Ayaka

A lot of Inazuma cast were not meta on release or 2 years after release and I don’t regret geting them
(Ayato I got on release even if I knew Yelan who is coming afterwards him has a better kit) I still played him until I had to give skirk his weapon

( I swore to ge Yoimiya on her 4th re run and I used over 2 full soft pities to get her) while I cat play her in endgame I do love her overload teams and now that I got ineffa I can try overloadvap team

I went for Xiao on release even when everyone was saying to skip him for Hu Tao ( I still use Xiao till rhis day in abyss no regret ever)

I went for Kokomi on her first rerun even when everyone was she was billed for her negative crit (initially she was to support Ganyu then she was Nilou team driver the Furina mono hydro team driver and finally she got replaced when I got neuviellette on his 3rd rerun)

I got albedo on his first rerun and I’m happy he is getting a buff these days (while I lost 50:50 on Durin banner, I found a decent team Yi play him in albedo
Venti Emilie and bennett)

I remember I opened a thread in a website after 1 week I started Genshin, about if and how I could learn more wishes to pull Yoimiya before the end of her first banner, because I fell in love at first sight and she is the only reason why I started the game.

The answers were almost negative (In fact at the end I bought Crystals), but a lot of them had the urge to say to skip her because she is weak.
Bro, I literally said she is the reason why I started the game 🤦
