After playing the 6.3 Archon Quest, I get the sense that Dottore might still be alive and planning something. There was a previous mention of “burning the tree” as a future event, which makes me think this plot point hasn’t been resolved yet.!<

One possibility is that the Dottore we saw was the original because the original Dottore would be personally overseeing the most important experiment. Another possibility is that the original Dottore is doing an even more important experiment and what we saw was a segment. If Dottore or his segment is still alive that could be how we'll get more Dottore content!<

It seems Dottore actually did go against them. Also Columbina doesn't show she knows anything more. Even if she can view other events, it's only the ones that occurred in the past, where the moon shines. So she wouldn't know any future events.!<

Perhaps we could megathread this or some other thread because there's been so many threads about this exact same thing. I love discussing theories as much as the next person, but no one is checking to see there are so many threads about this already
