Tips for Sethos please

Im building up Sethos C5 as my next DPS, but hes the first ive seen where his constellations boost the normal attack. So im assuming he has a slightly different playstyle to most other characters.

He will be teamed with Sucrose C6, Qiqi C0 and Columbina C0 (if i dont lose the 50/50)

Im looking for tips on how the rotation would work, suggested weapons, and artifacts.

Just make sure you get him a nice wheelchair with a racing stripe for columbina to push him in.

He has several different ways to play and [this vid by Bowtae](https://youtu.be/35mGxk9k-lI?si=cdEE07bSCwQdtC3m) is really helpful with learning his tech. [Keqingmain's guide](https://keqingmains.com/q/sethos-quickguide/) is still good for his general weapon and artifact choices though it hans't been updated for Lunar teams yet. The general idea should just be set up off-field stuff then do on-field DPS with Sethos. Something like Sethos E to apply Electro (assuming he's solo Electro), Columbina E, Sucrose E Q NA, the flex slot skill, Sethos Q NA walk cancel combos.

I recommend swapping out Qiqi for an off-field Dendro or Electro if you have any, but otherwise it's an okay team. If you're not using Lunar Charge (Ineffa is actually better than Columbina for that but Columbina is definitely usable), try and get him an Aggravate team.

But yeah, Sethos actually has decent personal damage. I use him to clear all endgame content except SO Dire.

Thank you for that, ill be sticking with Qiqi just due to how i "pick" my teams. This isnt for Abyss or anything like that, just for my overworld exploration and quest team.

I like to rotate my characters a bit randomly to keep the game fresh, so ill create a team with whatever 5 star, or c5 and higher 4 stars ive got, use them till they're friendship level 10 then swap them out.

Ive been focusing for the last few months on properly building the characters ive already got and not pulling for new characters (i have no NK chars) So they're the only 4 currently who fit the criteria for my next team. Im only pulling for Columbina because this the is the first banner for a while where i dont have either character already.

I assume the weapon and artifacts recommended by the training guide on the pause menu would be good?

Friendship teams may not have great battle synergy but they're fun in their own ways and it does keep the game feeling fresh instead of using the same teams all the time. I use those teams as well whenever I get new characters, and the biggest challenge is when you're trying to use them against a specific weekly boss that you need to farm. But that's just me being greedy for companionship points, lol. But yeah, for the overworld that team should be fine.

Yup! The recommendations on there are based off real player data so they're pretty solid.

You can find some good combos too sometimes. There was a boss or challenge a while ago i saw people saying was hard and i was thinking "huh, they were easy" Turns out they were more susceptible to elemental reactions than pure damage. My Yanfei, Baizhu, Fischl and Yelan team smoked them.
