What would it take for the Heavenly Principles to wake up at this point
LIKE AM I CRAZY OR DID DOTTORE LITERALLY TEAR OPEN THE FALSE SKY IN HIS FINAL FIGHT HOW ARE THE HEAVENLY PRINCIPLES STILL ASLEEP
If this wasn’t enough them im genuinely scared for what’s gonna happen towards the end of the story in order for them to wake up.
Either that or we’re gonna see the repercussions of what Dottore did during the Luna Patches only

The Heavenly Principles will probably wake up when the Traveler goes off script in a way that would require intervention.
So Teyvat's fate accounts for the Traveler? If so, how can he ever do something off-script?
Let's say the Traveler saves random people fated to die that didn't broke any rule of HP. The Traveler went off script, but not in a way that would anger HP.
Edit: For all we know, Dottore was fated to fail, and the Traveler's intervention just made him get closer to his goal before failing.
Who would defeat false god Scara in Sumeru for one. I feel like a lot, even big things that happened were very much influenced one way or another, by actions of Traveler.
How would Fatui get Electro Gnosis without us? What would have to happen for Inazuma to get to current state.
Or are state of a nation and existence of god Scara insignificant?
What the Traveler really changed is how many people died along the way, and the war in Natlan was the best example of this because we actually have access to alternative events.
The war is always won, as it was fated, but how many people die in the process is determined by the Traveler's actions.
Or basically asleep and we have to wake them up to fight. But they are a fraction of their former selves.
And the Shades are only doing their job to keep the illusion of the Heavenly Principle being alive. As Ronova need to keep the curse up no matter what, because they have to keep the illusion of everything is okay, like Gwyndolin keeping Anor Londo's illusion alive...
I play a lot of Fromsoft games.
So you have an already weakened HP and then the 2nd biggest disaster of Teyvat occurs, the Cataclysm. I theorize what happened is that they used their remaining power to wipe out Khaenri'ah and that caused them to sleep ever since. They're currently recovering power and can't wake up till they do.
The Shades are weird for not responding though. My guess is that they can't do anything major unless ordered by HP. Ronova tried to do something behind their back before, and was punished for it.
