I want to talk about this glitch at the end of the new archon quest

After the upside down Statue of The Seven, this thing scared me the most in Genshin Impact. I've got a really bad feeling about this. Does this mean Teyvat is glitching because Dottore tear opened the fake sky? Or something else?

It's because Dottore is (almost certainly) still alive.

Some people are saying the whole AQ finale could have taken place in one of his energy spheres (though I doubt that). But it is extremely likely that we didn't kill Dottore, since he still needs to burn Irminsul (which hasn't happened yet).

burning irminsul could just be Collei's dream. In that scene he was accompanied by Columbina who was still with the Fatui. Since she left the Fatui already, this scene (if it happened) had to be in the past. We know it didn't happen though, so it's just a dream.

I don't think it will happen in the future. Columbina is not going to get chummy with Dottore again after everything that's happened.

This could be anything, from the sky finally being open for other descenders/aliens to come visit or Celestia and the Heavenly Principles being watching us the entire time.

The thing that is actually glitching is what concerned me in the first place. It's the game interface, the chapter title text and all, the UI!! Does this confirm those theories about Genshin being a simulation? We're just inside a gigantic computer program???? (Amphoreus PTSD, sorry)

My 3 Theories:

1. It is a sign that Dottore isn't actually dead. We only destroyed his 'Omega Form' segment, and while Dottore did claim to destroy all his segments during the Sumeru Archon quest, that was two years ago at minimum due to the yearly Lantern Rite. Knowing him, he probably created more in that time, and this defeat as well as his hatred of the world may be what sets him on the warpath to burn Irminsul.

2. It is a sign that the Shades or even the Heavenly Principles may finally get more actively involved. They practically have to respond to this since Dottore literally tore a massive hole in the main thing keeping the Abyss from flooding in at full speed, not to mention the powering up of a Moon Goddess with authority equal to the 4 Shades.

3. Crack Theory, Dottore created a simulated world that all of Teyvat is trapped in, giving the impression that he was destroyed while everyone lives blissfully unaware.

I'm on board with #3. He has equivalent power to the four shades or three moon goddesses who hold absolute power over time and space, at least in Teyvat. Why would he operate so slowly with such omnipotent power? He put on a play. Likely as a tool to convince the traveler to join him, though I don't really get his obsession with the traveler.

This too is a huge possibility. I originally thought Rerir would be our 2nd weekly but now? Its uncertain. The abyss/void realm outside the barrier has many eldritch Lovecraftian horrors. So who can say? But either way its not good.
