Clombina and Ineffa made Genshin hit #1 on JP android
Android just updated the chart and Genshin hit#1. It’s still #5 on CN ios and #7 on JP ios (very much expected). After finishing the AQ I think many would go for Colombina since she’s so lovely.

every time i see these screenshots im just impressed by how FGO is always in there what the heck i dont even know anyone that plays the game lol
andrewlikereddit2026-01-16 15:05
I do. They have very loyal fanbase and lately they have been releasing alot of good servant
RandomGuy9382026-01-16 16:20
Thanks to them, Fate animes always or almost always have been great, especially the animation
LiDragonLo2026-01-17 00:51
i'm still waiting for my fav to get its next adaptation, idk wen it'll come out but it can't end on such a crazy thing happening. I should check when it comes out.
As for which adaptation, lets say its known for its yuri, and i won't delve deeper
AKAFallow2026-01-17 03:48
I mean, the story of the manga is getting really good, shame about the anime exageratting certain stuff tho lol
LiDragonLo2026-01-17 04:04
Well i may or may not like that exaggeration. But in all seriousness, i'm just waiting on the next movie to drop. I already know the story of said series is good
Kudos to u to knowing what i'm talking abt
AKAFallow2026-01-17 04:31
My man, you kinda spelled out the full name of the show by just saying "yuri" lol
AKAFallow2026-01-17 03:45
Really sad that FGO often can't get the same treatment with its anime. While Babylonia was great, it suffered a lot in its 2nd half, and the Solomon stuff shouldn't have been so short and to the point. Then we have the adaptation to the first chapter and Singularity 6's 2 movies, with the first Camelot movie being hot water dogshit lmao, and the second almost killing their animators and some not even getting paid if the animation didn't look "great".
AKAFallow2026-01-17 03:47
> the Solomon stuff shouldn't have been so short and to the point
Also, also, the Solomon stuff, you know, the fucking ENDING to an entire story saga, shouldn't have been done after ONLY getting chapter 1 and chapter 7 animated (Chapter 6 got animated way later). I have no idea why they polled that shit instead of doing the sane thing and animation each chapter, even if the early ones were shit
hassanfanserenity2026-01-16 15:49
Would FGO be Balatro prototype?
caucassius2026-01-16 17:00
lots of their whales are pretty much married to the characters in fgo
Rozu172026-01-17 06:11
What would dare to happen if they ever released a married character, or one that has a child like Alice ?
caucassius2026-01-17 07:14
they do that often. those characters simply don't ever get popular lol
ThFenixDown2026-01-16 19:05
highly loyal fanbase with the bonus of ip recognition, and the draw of a pretty solid ongoing story. especially in jp i know fate is insanely popular, it's not super surprising.
Kevko182026-01-16 20:18
As someone who's played since launch, I still play FGO. I only started playing Genshin for a change of pace couple months ago.
ChaosFulcrum2026-01-16 23:02
To begin with, FGO is not mainstream-level on Global.
It's "decently popular enough", I'd say. It was one of my first gacha games and also my first-ever exposure to top-quality storytelling in a mobile game. And I do think FGO is still near-unbeatable in that regard to this day.
suzakurenzan2026-01-16 23:08
FGO is mainly VN with gameplay... Usually near the story updates, or a long established character release... FGO number always went up because people also coming back
Part of it because FGO make the gameplay forgiving by balancing the rarity (punishing high rarity, rewarding low rarity)... So player who stopped playing since 5 years ago still can get everything in the newest end game...
My friend stopped playing in Atlantis (lostbelt 5, that chapter was released before covid happened)... he come back because of the end chapter, read every chapter...
he got every story, every bleached earth stages, and even doing every end game raid... and new year he doing GSSR lol.....
So i think some casual people also doing similar things as him so FGO income went up
AKAFallow2026-01-17 03:51
> Part of it because FGO make the gameplay forgiving by balancing the rarity
Except the reason I stopped doing the story in FGO was because the gameplay was never forgiving once you reach the endgame. That shit is the most annoying combat I have ever seen, and I'm literally caught up on JP (bar part 2's finale). I just can't stand a game that literally says fuck your mechanics, I will make this 10 times harder with some bullshit and RNG, also, here's my Ultimate every single turn that can either delete your defensive buffs or pass right through them, also sometimes I may have an instant-kill.
Edit: oh and every single main boss having debuff immunity, I sure love making half my units useless, huh. I get charm, stun or fear immune, but at least let me experiment, and FUCK OFF WITH FORCED NPC SUPPORTS. Ok, sorry for the rant lol
suzakurenzan2026-01-17 04:16
The dev already said since early year, every gimmick are counterable with low rarity \*1-\*3.
If you have hard time with story quest, read the gimmick the end game actually clearable using servants that released from 2015...
For example you can "skip" the sure kill Goetia NP using \*1 Matahari, but if you want challenge then just dont use her, the battle will become more harder... \*3 Euryale is still male saber killer since 2015 up until now 2026...
These dev word still hold true until now because a player tried finishing FGO without quartz gacha.... His gold servants were only \*4 Herc (choose), and \*5 Waver (choose), and freebies, and he really did got to the end.
The thing that I hate from forced npc support are only we need to remake our party again and again because they giving us blank party for every arrow...... But other than that, forced NPC support actually helping the battle gimmick
Nono, I'm not saying its impossible, I'm saying its a big, big pain in the ass. I been playing since 2018 and got half of the strongest units on both servers, I just don't find it fun having to account 20 gimmicks at once, especially since I'd rather they keep that annoying shit to Challenge Quests and let me enjoy the story a little more.
Also, explain how Caenis actually helped in the Demeter fight in LB5.2, tell me how that was helpful and didn't deter the fight even further from being manageable at all.
I will also admit I don't like using 3* servants or below since I barely like any of them in the first place.
Sorry that it comes off as petty, but what I was trying to say is that the game is detering me hard as a casual player that I'm only keeping up with events at this point.
Also, one last thing: it's kinda hard to read what the gimmicks are in later chapters because my only sources are fan-run guides that try to translate the battle effects, and most of the time skipping very important info like, say Kingprotea Alter reshuffling your team, forcing you to rethink the strat AGAIN
Tamamo_was_here2026-01-16 23:53
Played Fgo for like 8 years
Wurzelrenner2026-01-17 03:08
I would love to play it, but to me the gameplay is just boring
Chance-Range28552026-01-17 04:48
they loyal fr(Im one of them😭)
TrashySheep2026-01-16 15:04
Ineffa was probably a character that A LOT of people regretted skipping whereas Bina, well, she's the Archon equivalent.
Good times
Dramatic_endjingu2026-01-16 15:12
Ineffa’s meta value grew a lot in NK but so is her as a character grew on the players. She’s just so funny and cool.
TrashySheep2026-01-16 15:17
Electro sustain with off-field applications that can also deal damage...
We've played these games before :D I was a Cookie believer and instantly knew that Ineffa was going to be good. I sometimes use her in overload team because I prioritize comfy over meta (even post-Nod-Krai)
Lunar12112026-01-16 15:48
God Kuki's glow up as soon as dendro came out is insane to remember
MaleQueef2026-01-16 20:46
Not also that but a different damage formula allowing much more units to do electro charge (Lunar charged)
Chance-Range28552026-01-17 04:49
I lover her voice man her voice actor really did a good job

Boring design wise 💀 He is my and many people’s favourite design
Clades_Candor2026-01-16 21:30
It's okay, u are just not a part of the majority.
Kazuha was like ineffa, except he didn't get half as good of a character development, so he stayed as the same uninteresting one dimensional character as he was on release except for meta relevance.
I don't know one person who got the guy for non meta reasons lol.
Midnight38792026-01-16 21:32
You say “is still boring design wise” but that’s not true, he’s literally super popular
Clades_Candor2026-01-16 21:34
He's not? Even wanderer is more popular, and i despise him unlike kazuha.
kronpas2026-01-16 15:23
As a first day player i dont really care about chars anymore kit-wise, but ineffa grew on me with those deadpan jokes of her. Ended up c0r1 x2 this banner. No regret.
BillysTown2026-01-16 16:41
My ass still skipped her , i do want her eventually but theres still so many Nod Krai’s Units more interesting to me
billie_eyelashh2026-01-16 17:29
I remember some people making jokes how she looks like a standard 5 star character lol.
jibbycanoe2026-01-16 19:10
Yeah that's me. Well I didn't skip her, I just lost the 5050. Loved her (and Aino) in the NK story plus she's a great unit so easy pull this time. I'm really salty Aino isn't on the banner tho. I had to skip Flins so only got the free one.
Neospartan_1172026-01-16 23:14
Me, I am A LOT of people. When she released I thought she might be like an introduction to the Lunar reactions mechanic but the real meat and potatoes of the thing would be in Nod Krai.
🤡 <- My face when half the team comps since Luna I have an Ineffa-shaped hole (hyperbole).
I did get both Bina and 'neffa this cycle, though.
StevieBond2026-01-17 00:53
This! I wanted both and still have enough to save for Nicole. And I did get both, but now I have to save up again. Worth it!
Anhedonia2022026-01-17 02:39
I pulled her on her first banner because she's a cool character, the fact that she turned out to be meta is cherry on top.
Funlife20032026-01-17 13:47
I feel so superior to those plebs who skipped, got her the first time around, suck it y'all/j
PhenomenallyAverage2026-01-16 15:10
No surprise. If it can hit rank 1 despite the massive debuffs there on the JP App Store, it's definitely hitting rank 1 on Android where there's no debuff. [Reading some of the comments there, many people are surprised so many people are even spending on the App Store in the first place lmao](https://i.imgur.com/PiCYrOl.png)
Katicflis12026-01-16 15:13
She was top 1 in JP IOS for two days.
Its rare for characters to even hit 1, and the ONLY characters that have done it two days straight between 2023 to current day are Columbina, Furina and Neuvillette.
BulbasaurTreecko2026-01-16 15:20
from this data I predict another Hydro archon-esque figure in our future
PlacetMihi2026-01-16 15:21

Katicflis12026-01-16 15:22
JP hydroabusers for sure.

CharlesEverettDekker2026-01-16 15:15
To the surprise of literally no one
Dismal-Job18142026-01-16 15:16
Genshin hit 1 on IOS before that.
Which is big feat for Genshin they haven’t done in a long time
On CN hitting number 1, in month of Jan is basically a pipe dream.
InterestingArt31662026-01-16 16:16
yep even mavuika wasnt able to do it last year because of how fierce the competition was, she went above douyin for around 12-16 hours (same as phainon) and thats what matters
kunsore2026-01-16 15:17
Even Durin did pretty well so not surprise
Grouchy_Gap452026-01-16 15:31
Durin did 40 M, for a 5 years hyped dragon to to closer to chasca, a random natlanese, it's really underwhelming
kunsore2026-01-16 15:34
Durin is NEVER a 5 years old hype character, literally he appeared in 1 event and 1 AQ quest before Nod Krai. No one was expecting he is playable for 5 years. I literally playing since 1.0 and never heard ppl hype about him
Grouchy_Gap452026-01-16 15:36
What? Durin was setup in basically every simulanka event with all the hexenzirkel and stuff since 1.0. ofc he is a 5 years hyped character. Even if people didn't think he was going to be playable, hid story buildup was clearly setup since the beginning of mondstadt
Objective_Squirrel872026-01-16 15:46
doesnt help that a lot of people never played simulanka. most dont know his past except paralogism. the only way we were absolutely sure he would be playable was by this event thats all which is not too much
Aelxer2026-01-17 00:57
I was really hyped for Durin but I've been playing since 1.0 and never missed an event so I guess I was sort of the target audience for that.
Yurand_2026-01-16 17:05
Disagree. He was one of the characters people have been waiting for alongside Varka for mondstadt ever since he got mentioned that he's Albedo's brother in 1.X. Are we just pretending it doesn't exist? Lol
Objective_Squirrel872026-01-16 15:37
he was placed before the archon of the region and lets be honest he was not treated that greatly by hoyo like idk columbina or lauma which is fair
Grouchy_Gap452026-01-16 15:40
That's what I am saying, he got shafted. So when the post says he did pretty well, I clearly disagree
Objective_Squirrel872026-01-16 15:47
he did pretty well with the way he was treated. thats what happened
nanimeanswhat2026-01-16 16:18
He made only 1m less than Lauma's month which came with a shop reset and a brand new reaction. He also made more than Escoffier and close to Ineffa's debut month (which also included Mavuika and Citlali reruns). He did well.
Eastern-Yogurt89722026-01-16 16:00
That, plus him generally being considered a side grade to mav, who is stupidly op, by a lot of people.
Bout_to_shower2026-01-16 16:02
Chasca's first banner also released right before Mavuika. But in terms of meta, Durin is very strong, arguably on par with the other nodKrai units before Columbina.
jisooed2026-01-16 22:04
what treatment did lauma get bro
Objective_Squirrel872026-01-17 08:41
she was there from the beginning of the quests has good amount of screentime and her broken kit
Dismal-Job18142026-01-16 16:18
The way Sensertoer now counts is different compared to before.
So Durin by old metrics done more than Chasca
Peregriri2026-01-16 16:47
Durin’s performance is expected. He likely would have done better if Mihoyo had given him more focus in the main Archon Quest. While he has plenty of lore, it mainly appeals to long-time lore players, and newer players know very little about Durin or mini-Durin. With minimal presence in the main story, it’s harder for players to feel emotionally attached to him, unlike some other characters whose appeal benefits from fresh emotional impact. Fresh, strong feelings dictate pulls in a casino, if you will.
Meta-wise, Durin is strong, but for some players he feels like a Mavuika side-grade with no clear team archetype yet. Plus, no flight for a dragon who’s shown flying in all of his promotion was a huge disappointment for me, though I still pulled that sweet C2. His release during the Lunar meta also hurt his pull value. Overall, he’s similar to Cloud Retainer, showing that a gimmick and old lore alone aren’t enough to perform far above average.
Still, in my opinion, he performed well and is a strong meta pull with even more potential in the future. Most importantly, his lore is amazing.
masternieva6662026-01-17 03:03
its funny your are using sensor tower 4om sales as a basis of durin sales when your not even adding pc,playstation, epic, and third party site sales.

TWOSimurgh2026-01-16 15:26
We are breaking 100mil on Sensortower PVP with that one
Grouchy_Gap452026-01-16 15:30
I really dont think so.
goens7772026-01-16 15:37
Statistically near impossible unless she never drops out of top 10 in CN until the end of the month which hasn't happened since Furina's banner.
She's gonna realistically do around 60-80m for this month depending on how stable she is.
Low-Shoe53862026-01-16 17:02
Sensortower doesn't record cn stats
goens7772026-01-16 17:03
They record CN IOS
masternieva6662026-01-17 03:02
not accurate since they gonna guess it by multiplying ios sales to whatever they want.
zriL-2026-01-17 13:06
They don't record anything. It's all estimations. This is why it's mostly meaningless.
goens7772026-01-17 13:19
And these estimations are based on the CN IOS ranks that we have access to. They record the hourly changes in rank and they greatly influence the final estimates.
From these records, we can cross-reference with sensortower's past estimates to predict the final result.
It's meaningless but it's still fun to try and guess sensortower's results.
Also, the OP was talking about Columbina earning $100 million with the context of the monthly PVP. So, I provided a rebuttal for why that wouldn't happen: Columbina didn't rank well enough in CN.
It doesn't matter if she got some other stats suggesting she did better or worse. We're just looking at sensortower's numbers here because the OP was talking about the monthly PVP.
oldbutgold692026-01-16 18:48
Nope, not happening... the hype for Bina just isn't there compared to actual archons
Ok_Professor952026-01-17 13:43
Its not the hype factor tbh in her case tencent screwed up her cn ranking. If her hype was low she wouks not have had done high n global (ranked 1 in JP for 2 days whicj is v rare for genshin nowadays given the debuff there)
Vegetto_ssj2026-01-16 15:37
Surely, make 80-97k dps character isn't the right way to reach these performances! Wake up Hoyo!
Due_Bluebird35622026-01-16 18:21
He who shall not be named was never going to touch these numbers for several reasons. His DPS isn't one of them.
mrwanton2026-01-16 22:45
If the numbers were decent you'd expect him to at least do near Flins but as is...not looking good
Rush1662026-01-16 15:54
I pretend to be surprised. xD
Thadsim072026-01-16 16:10

Rouge_means_red2026-01-16 18:42
Looks like some slop clash of clans clone. I feel like I need to run my anti-virus after going to their website
alec6132026-01-16 20:12
it's last war.
damn, that's surprising, but at the same time it isn't
it's a completely a p2w game. i used to be one of the top 10 players in one of the servers but was feeling the burnout. There's just no competing against millionaires, who spends thousands on the game on a daily basis, and that a couple JP whales whaling is probably why that game is no2
anemoGeoPyro2026-01-16 16:16
Not surprised, Ineffa grew on a lot of people. And Columbina is the most awaited character since she appeared
Rasenpapi2026-01-16 16:57
this isnt even news
most obvious #1 gain in history
Bluetooth_Speaker12026-01-16 17:49
Columbina*
JewelKnightJess2026-01-16 20:46

Zestyclose_Comment962026-01-17 00:42

SocietyAvailable45492026-01-17 02:56
ah, yes, clombina. meta slaves can’t even say her name.
