She only takes damage if she is using any electro based shield/aura (Kuki + Ineffa)
But others and without shield, she takes no fall damage on the mushroom and just continue boucing as normal

That's probably because the electrified mushroom boosts your jump and she has a higher jump animation, making her take fall damage from a higher place that others won't reach, what aura does she have or the shields don't matter.

I reported it as a bug, although I'm not sure if they can do anything about it. I believe it has something to do with the amount of time a character spends in the air, and Columbina just stays a lot longer than any other character.

I just tested Mualani on her Sharky, jumping on an activated bouncy mushroom. She doesn't lose any HP. Might be something that got fixed at some point.

yeah it's because the electro shrooms give you more height and columbina is floatier than other characters, the immunity to fall damage doesn't last long enough for her. happens to mualani (on sharky) as well cause she also floats a bit more (on sharky) than other characters just not to the same level as columbina.
