Am I the only one that thinks hoyo released the artifacts in the wrong version?

Comparing:

Aubade which is now Ineffa BIS

SMS which is Columbina BIS

Their designs match their BIS so much better than the character they were released with

I think you're sort of right? But it's understandable why they did what they did. All lunar teams benefit greatly from SMS, while Aubade is pretty optional. So it makes sense to release SMS first. But yes, I do agree that Aubade is a better fit for Ineffa and SMS a better fit for Columbina.

For wheelchair comps with no NK carry pretty sure night sky unveiling is still more valuable on ineffa over aubade if no one on the team is using it. Just forces you to swap to her often or make her the driver.

Not a lot of situations someone else will wear aubade

Not sure where you're getting your calc info from but im getting mine from Zajeff77, so gonna trust what he says and the info he provides instead. 30% crit rate and 20 % TEAM wide lunar dmg is better than 60% personal lunar dmg on ineffa.

Which comp Zajeff calc? Im trying to understand the context for using it. What kind of teams are available when using nightsky.

Anyways, for the 20% Teamwide means basically locked on to 2 or more NK with someone on the team must wear sms. So, like u mentioned, using nightsky has the disadvantage of must keep swapping, and swap to what? >> Aubade. I wld consider aubade the BIS since more scenarios use it

Wheelchair comp with no NK carry, the 2 characters your post has in it, Columbina and Ineffa.

You're confusing "best in slot" for ease of use. Also again your talking about ineffa in other comps when my 1st comment mentions the bina+ineffa wheelchair.

Releasing Silken Moon first is much better. The ER makes it a lot easier to get supports on usable builds. Aubade benefits Ineffa more, but Aino and Lauma like Silken Moon significantly more.

Not to mention Aubade is only better on Ineffa if your Ineffa actually does more damage than Columbina which may not be the case for someone who vertically invested in Columbina.

Both of the 6.0 sets can be used on non-NK characters since the effects are tied to nascent/ascendant gleam and lunar reactions occurring instead of the user specifically triggering lunar reactions

No,because if you had to choose between having either before columbinas release you’d still prefer to have the support set right? You have to consider the new artifacts use it’d have in 6.0 and sms wins there

Nah it may be benefitting ineffa bit silken is much needed to lauma and aino since they need a bit more er needs and for them the 4 piece set is also benefitting to them
