So…where is the story going to go from here?
After 6.3 it feels like the Nod-Krai storyline has been pretty much wrapped up. All the major villains have been taken care of, Columbina’s been saved and we’ve found our spaceship (excluding the small teases, such as the ending screen and Wanderer’s comments about Dottore). The patch also had the major hallmarks of a final region story patch, such as the death of a harbinger, weekly boss, and the “archon” providing us with some lore about the next major region and it’s archon.
Except the devs said that the story would last the entire year this time. I kind of thought it would be like amphoreus from HSR, which had one continuous story through all the patches barring the last one of the year.
Considering Varka is going to be heading back to mondstat and liben’s comments about Dorman port, we are probably going to have the next parts of the story take place there, but I’m curious as to what it would even be about. Starting an entire new storyline halfway through the year seems a little ambitious and we still have characters like Nicole who need to release, as well as known Nod-Krai characters like Linnea, even though we don’t really have a reason to head back there at this point.
There’s also the fact that Mavuika still has the pyro gnosis at this point, meaning that there’s a good chance that before we head to snezhnaya, something would have to happen with that (or not, maybe it could be a focus for the next patch cycle)

6.7 isn't gonna be the last patch.
Just like Kitara's Dad was away from the water tribe just because the writers didn't want him to be there.
so like everything else that happens in the story?
I'm expecting things to take a break from here, unless something surprising happens leading to the next weekly boss. We'll get a Dain interlude at the tail end, and maybe Dornman will be an interlude too. Could explore more of the hexenzirkel.
