How to join the Fatui?

I love this character. Thats it.. thats the thread.

For context... I took a break from the game after sumeru. Got a quick start. So NK was my introduction to the character. I always thought the Fatui were wack. But now I see the light.

And holy moly. Hat Guy is now the goat? What a comeback.

I hate this character frfr

Lazy-Traffic53462026-01-17 07:34

Finally you getting some Downvotes for that take, nice to see

clueless_shepard2026-01-16 21:51

Joining Fatui is rather easy. Just challenge childe or be cute enough so father can adopt you

kokko6932026-01-16 22:51

Don't need to be cute to be adopted by father. Just need to lose your parents.

~~Batman~~ Diluc could be adopted by Arle

FlirtMonsterSanjil2026-01-16 23:43

>Just need to lose your parents.

While my heart is against what I am about to do, anything to get closer to father!

GoonbodyEmbodiment2026-01-17 01:07

That was kinda dark lmao

Also happy cake day yo.

Sovyet2026-01-17 04:26

Tbf unhinged guys like him makes the best Fatui operative

Disturbing_Cheeto2026-01-17 06:43

Not the father diff

The-true-muskequeer2026-01-17 00:11

Damn, all these doors he had, yet he refused to join the Fatui? Rosalyne and Zandik really ruined his perception of them, didn't they just? That's tragic.

Alawogiws2026-01-17 00:24

Diluc’s not cute? 😔💔

Father

Cross_Shade2026-01-16 22:01

At this point, there are like 3 more members to trim, and the Fatui are going to be a pretty chill organization.

OneTrick-Phony2026-01-17 00:02

I mean, Pierro hasn’t proven to be all that bad… yet. He just doesn’t like the Heavenly Principles and Shades but like… who in Teyvat actually does like them? They did also curse him and everyone from Khaenri’ah so like Dainsleif he’s got a pretty good reason.

Izanagi322026-01-17 01:28

Nicole has a pretty good opinion of the Heavenly principles from what we’ve seen

RoseIgnis2026-01-17 01:37

me when the seelie likes the person who created all the seelie

Izanagi322026-01-17 01:38

I mean you’d be surprised considering what happened 😂

TetraNeuron2026-01-17 08:19

Ask Collei how much she likes the guy who saved her life from Eleazar

Izanagi322026-01-17 13:26

you mean the traveller and Tighnari? cause wasn’t she still afflicted by it when we got to sumeru

WhiteLance6552026-01-18 01:51

I believe they might be talking about Dottore and how his experiments technically halted her Eleazar from killing her?

But calling all that she went through while being a test subject something that _saved_ her life is a wild statement 😂

Ze_AwEsOmE_Hobo2026-01-17 03:29

Do not ask the Kinich what he thinks about the person who helped create the Kinich.

ScallionImmediate2432026-01-17 17:01

Bro also created all of humanity in Teyvat, still doesn't stop from getting hated.

casper_072026-01-17 01:45

I think he is staring a little too hard at ronova tho👀

RussianNeo2026-01-17 07:26

Spent basically his whole adult life doing so.

casper_072026-01-18 11:37

Can’t really blame him, I would call dibs too if I was him

GetFiltered2026-01-17 04:09

>who in Teyvat actually does like them?

Everyone who knows the full picture and thus understands that they haven't done anything wrong. Quite the opposite, saved Teyvat from the total doom that Sinners caused.

dadofwar932026-01-17 06:07

>haven't done anything wrong.

That's a stretch. They have done plenty of wrong stuff. It's a gray area.

RA45262026-01-17 07:06

"wrong" is subjective. They have a good and understandable reason to do what they did. By that measure I think they have done nothing wrong. Unlike Rerir, who hoyo brazenly redeemed for no reason.

dadofwar932026-01-17 07:17

He DID NOT get redeemed. He was just shown to have learned from his mistakes. He is still trapped there and can't reach Thilondis.

RA45262026-01-17 07:18

Ofc, I was exaggerating, I just wanted to give an example of someone who is completely not understandable or reasonable.

RussianNeo2026-01-17 07:29

"Brazenly redeemed" and he's left to yearn for eternity from a place he cannot move away from as a result of what he's done. I don't think you know what redeemed means in this situation, and besides, Sandrone unknowingly ended up helping Dottore with her base housing the stuff he needed in order to achieve his ambition. She also implicated the Frostmoon Scions in her affairs and almost went so far as to want to kill us after we infiltrated her base, but sure. "Wrong is subjective," or whatever.

RA45262026-01-17 07:36

Not living the best life doesn't mean he wasn't redeemed in some way at least💔
His sudden realisation is terrible, as if he had not had 500 years to ponder.
Idk what you're trying to say with all that Sandrone stuff. It has nothing to do with Celestia or Rerir morality

GetFiltered2026-01-17 11:12

Name one.

Zek7h35an52026-01-17 08:31

The Heavenly Principles are a necessary evil, but that's still evil. Sure they may be stopping the Abyss from completely overtaking Teyvat but their first answer to people being naturally curious about what lies beyond the false sky is to annihilate the entire country.

DeagleTC2026-01-17 04:20

pierro brought dottore onto the team

RA45262026-01-17 04:59

"pierro hasn't proven to be all that bad"

- Leads an organisation which grooms children

- allows experimentation on children and the murder of
children

- closest allies cause havoc on Teyvat such as summoning a literal ancient god and doing stuff like putting human consciousness in animals.

- wants to kill a god who is actively protecting them from utter doom

Not bad right?

Due_StrawMany2026-01-17 00:14

Nah I trust in the fatui theory of it all was meant to happen and then they will all control the ley lines

s-josten2026-01-17 01:53

Yeah, a pretty chill organization of, like, two people and the Tsaritsa (henchmen don't count, they wear masks so it's ok to kill them).

Idainaru_Yokubo2026-01-17 04:00

so are the remaining Fatui just absorbing subordinates of other divisions

Is this is a Fatui survival game where the last remaining Fatui becomes the biggest division

Adblock_Only2026-01-16 22:07

Wait a second..... that profile pic to name....

Oh..... so Sandrone incident was too much of a *Black Swan* wasn't it :,[

Welp, gotta say.... going to cope until 6.7 ~~or Skirk rerun ruins me lol~~

Zek7h35an52026-01-17 08:27

I'd be genuinely surprised if when we get to Snezhnaya the Tsaritsa *doesn't* offer Traveler the opportunity to become a Harbinger.

SectorApprehensive582026-01-17 08:59

so thats our next title, the 14th harbinger

Zek7h35an52026-01-17 09:01

Traveler would be 6th at the weakest, more realistically they'd probably be able to overtake Pulcinella as the 5th.

SectorApprehensive582026-01-17 10:27

Ah, I put 14th as a joke. In Cantonese its sounds similar to "certain death"

Outflight2026-01-17 09:55

There is nothing harbinges that your nation about to have crisis better than Traveler arriving there.

FractalSpaces2026-01-17 20:39

What?

bobking01theIII2026-01-17 13:36

On everyone's soul Traveler will be number 10

Plus-Theme-32832026-01-17 21:34

NGL am not into the traveler become a harbenger

--sheogorath--2026-01-17 23:51

DeadLight31412026-01-16 22:23

Arlecchino is so brutally honest that it causes a stack overflow and loops back to being wholesome

Shade_X162026-01-16 22:53

Best character in the game, imo

Nero_PR2026-01-16 23:19

Fontaine is where you should go then. Arlecchino plays a huge role there as well and it has the second best Archon Quest after Nod-Krai.

Primordial-one2026-01-17 02:39

“Plays a Huge Role” lmfao, Arlecchino barely even appear in Fontaine AQ.

Also, hate to tell you this but Fontaine is not the 2nd best AQ, tf you smoking?? Having 1 good act doesn’t mean it’s the 2nd best lol.

ankitjad2026-01-16 23:20

I doubt we would ever be seeing Peruere lose her poker face even if someone pinches her clit...

Leaving peruere aside, Sandrone's chara development was peak. expected tho..

Hunter_Crona2026-01-16 23:32

She's great I love her, the reason I keep playing this game lol.

RowanWinterlace2026-01-16 23:54

There's plenty of Harbringer spots open, Miss Tsaritsa, don't pretend like you're not hiring now...

gnusica2026-01-17 00:07

I mean... the 10th position is still free, isn't it?

Minhaz2502026-01-17 00:39

Aren’t a ton of the Fatui positions free rn, harbringers have been dying(or equivalent) or leaving left and right

TheGreatBootOfEb2026-01-17 07:17

Arle is literally the highest-ranked Fatui at this point now (not counting Pierro). And given that she was given the Crimson Moon marrow once more, she probably actually has the power to back it up as well.

Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet for Fatui Harbingers. Whose gonna tell her no at this point lol. We bringing nepotism back

Burntoastedbutter2026-01-17 00:54

I think there's more than 10 still free, unless they decided to intro new characters 😂

Zrva_V32026-01-17 01:12

Most of them are free at this point

Latase2026-01-17 13:49

so are the 1st,2nd,3rd,6th,7th and 8th

Plus-Theme-32832026-01-17 21:35

Half of the place is free actually

One-Spare-7982026-01-17 00:51

The more I play Nod Krai story, the more I understand that Signora was just a terrible person when she was an enemy, but nice person to be around as an ally.

Fancy_Society_69142026-01-17 01:22

Or to say it more properly, Signora is the most straightforward harbinger as she needs to be. Most of the harbingers went loops and rounds while Rosalyne herself by far doing the God's work without hesitation.

Lazy-Traffic53462026-01-17 07:32

I understand why she did that to Venti but too much rely on emotions, that's why she end up like that. Tragic

HatiLeavateinn2026-01-17 00:54

Even if it is not mentioned as often, this quest was great to see how the Traveler and the Knave's relationship has grown.

I was impressed when they returned with Paimon to inform her that the Traveler had been captured and saw Arlechino avoiding everyone's eyes out of guilt for failing to protect the Traveler.

She also openly stated that the traveler was her friend and was happy to see them well after they returned safely.

TheUltraGuy1012026-01-17 02:22

Aside from Arlecchino, I've grown to love Sandrone, being a huge tsundere.

Kylerocks4442026-01-17 06:31

"CO LUM BI NAAAAA"

nairolfy2026-01-17 09:02

Her obvious worry about the Traveler, her showing how concerned she was when he finally returned was so cute. Especially when the second later she realised she dropped the tsundere act and returned to being a tsundere. "It's not like was worried about you or anything"

TheUltraGuy1012026-01-17 09:09

And obviously how >!She sacrificed herself for us.!<

Disturbing_Cheeto2026-01-17 06:47

The Fontaine trailer made me think Arlechino would be unlikeable, but I'm glad that's not the case. She's just the best. Strong, straightforward, honest, good parent, good friend, kills rich pedophiles. I ended up liking so many of the fatui that I didn't expect to like.

Caniju2026-01-17 07:05

>kills rich pedophiles

So she is friends with Poor pedophiles? Got it.

Super_Dig73532026-01-17 07:50

She just leaves the poor pedophiles to the justice system

TheGreatBootOfEb2026-01-17 07:15

It's kind of funny that when you think about it, now that Columbina is no longer Fatui, Capitano is in a chair, and Dottore is >!dead!<. Arlecchino (Ignoring Pierro, who doesn't have a proper rank), the one who made it clear was worried sick about us.... is now the highest-ranked Fatui member.

Quite literally, a good chunk of the Fatui are our friends. At this rate, Snez is going to be a friendly tea party.

RowanWinterlace2026-01-18 02:06

With the fact that Pantalone has been the one paying the Traveller's Daily Commissions for years, Pulcinella is (allegedly) pretty chill with Childe and Pierro recognises us as the sibling of his Prince/Princess... I do wonder what hostility we'll actually face. Especially since, from how she handled everything during and after the last Archon quest, the Tsaritsa doesn't seem completely unreasonable.

Shahadem2026-01-17 01:07

Arlecchino is an evil idiot.

She continues to work for an evil organization and do evil things for that evil organization to advance its evil goals while admitting it is evil and wrong.

OftheGates2026-01-17 01:16

My favorite part of all this is Arlecchino's hands being tied by... someone? To continue abusing the children under her in the House of the Hearth, yet she has the pull to appeal to the Tsaritsa and have her rescind the Harbinger in-fighting prohibition to deal with Dottore.

Perfect_Ad83932026-01-17 01:20

She doesn’t abuse them though…

OftheGates2026-01-17 01:31

You think she doesn't abuse children when she cultivates an environment in the House of the Hearth where they are willing to backstab and turn in one another when she applies the slightest pressure, where they live in perpetual fear that they may be killed for disloyalty, are forced to perform dirty work for the Fatui, and where the best they can hope for in terms of a way out is that they work hard enough for her to deem them worthy of her destroying their memories, thereby ridding them of the only family they've ever known, however twisted it might be?

Edit: The way this comment chain is so controversial and split despite the inability of anyone to refute the House's abuse is such an indictment of this community.

tnweevnetsy2026-01-17 02:30

But she's pretty mate. So none of that matters.

OftheGates2026-01-17 02:41

Unironically how this community treats her, it's so dumb.

redbossman1232026-01-17 04:17

Because the options these kids have is either that or live on the streets, and considering that Lynette was going to be a literal Jeffery Epstein victim until Peruere found her, the kids are going to choose the HotH.

Plus she's stated god knows how many times that if she is ever forced to choose between her kids and the Fatui, she's going to choose her kids

OftheGates2026-01-17 05:38

Being the lesser of two evils does not make a person not evil. Especially when, in the meantime, she continues to work with the Fatui and maintains the Hearth's brutal traditions for reasons that are only obvious to her.

caucassius2026-01-17 01:22

I'm just glad they featured her prominently in Nod Krai because she was disappointingly absent most of time in both Fontaine AQ and her own dang Character Quest. This was Hoyo's redemption arc on her character. Now if only Lunar reaction could play nice with her...

TheGreatBootOfEb2026-01-17 07:22

Oh god please no, Lunar Vape sounds like another Mauvika buff in the making.

That said, if they wanna give her a little buff (emphasis on little) because she's now in possession of the crimson moon marrow, I wouldn't mind.

blueandgoldilocks2026-01-17 01:34

If you haven't done Fontaine yet and just skipped to NK, she's fantastic there as well
