Traveler wearing the old skin here even tho chronologically he shouldn’t? Or did he just try on the outfit once and just change back 💔

Canonically the originals are their travelling outfit and I doubt they'll ever change it to the new outfits ever.
I am certain, they will always have the originals in cutscenes, sadly even the non rendered ones, trial story parts and promotional videos.
The traveler's visual identity has been too tied to those outfits for 5 years, i doubt they'd change it just the way they have insisted on using aether for all promos to keep the visual identity intact.
