Because Lunar Charged damage has 2 types: reaction dmg and direct dmg (from character kit). Ineffa's direct LC damage will make up the majority of DMG in the above team.
Columbina will elevate Ineffa's LC dmg to a whole new level higher than Columbina + Raiden can ever reach.

It's their dedicated supports that make the reaction good.
While Columbina buffs lunar reactions, her buffs are weaker than the specialist buffers in exchange for buffing everything.
Generally speaking: Solo Columbina < Any other Hydro sub DPS < Columbina+Ineffa (or Lauma, if applicable).
Also, Ineffa+Columbina is Raiden's BiS in the same way Dehya's BiS was XQ, Nahida, and Shinobu. It's not that they're actually good for Raiden, it's that Ineffa and Columbina do so much damage on their own that it doesn't matter who your other two slots are.

Yes. My C2R1 Raiden, paired up with C0R1 Zhongli, C0R1 Columbina and C6 Kujou Sara stomped their side of the new abyss.
Anyone who also has Ineffa can basically give her Flins' new best team with Columbina and you're golden.

C0 Raiden has a lower damage output than C2, but since I can see that you have Mavuika, Citlali and Xilonen you can just run those + Benny for the first half and that should give you plenty of time to do everything you need to do in Raiden and Columbina's half.
I ran Zhongli because I couldn't pull Ineffa after losing the 50/50 for both Columbina herself and her weapon, so that alone costed me around \~320 wishes and my Kuki is not built yet. Since you have a lv 90 Kuki you could try and run Raiden-Kuki-Columbina-Sucrose and see how strong that team turns out.

Yes. I absolutely destroyed Spiral Abyss with c3r1 Raiden Shogun, c0r5 Prospector Ineffa, c0r5 Prototype Columbina, and c1r5 Etherlight Lauma. Raiden does solid damage and drives the team while making sure everybody can spam their bursts off cooldown. Columbina and Ineffa provide good off-field damage and Ineffa provides a decent shield. C1 Lauma is a decent healer and also provides damage but can be replaced with a bunch of different characters. Since both Columbina and Ineffa work well off-field, it's good to have a character who can be on-field for them.
You really do need to pair Columbina with at least one other Nod-Krai character for Ascendent Gleam and because the value in Columbina's kit is buffing lunar reactions. Her automatically converting reactions to lunar reactions is just a bonus for getting rid of Nod-Krai mechanics if you have no other options. It doesn't really add all that much value by itself. If Columbina is the only Nod-Krai character in the team, she just serves as a decent hydro sub-dps character and you're much better off with Furina or Yelan. Ineffa is the default pairing because she's the most versatile Nod-Krai character and she does good off-field support damage that can be buffed frequently by Columbina.
