I love Sandrone so much. Don't forget to read the "Marionette's Notebook." You can find it in your room at The Flagship. Prepare your feels.
Definitely read the final entry.

Well after the AQ epilogue we can probably guess what's coming next.

What?
frostN0VA2026-01-17 00:33
Resurrection in a new body?
Empty_Temperature7942026-01-17 00:36

Sandy of course. I guess Dottore is also a possibility since the fight ends in a staple "we did not see his body" fashion, and the glitched quest end card.
As for Sandy, before leaving Arle mentions that Sandy always has a contingency plan and how she was entrusted to deliver Sandy's core to the Fontaine's Research Institute.

Lets be honest. The absolute moment she started mocking the idea about self-sacrifice to die for somebody else, we *all* knew the death flag was raised higher than Dragonspine's Celestial Nail with regards to how she'd have an 'ironic' end by doing just that.
At the same time, as far as artificial life goes in Teyvat, it has been demonstrated that the core of such constructs is basically both soul and brain and can be removed for an unspecified amount of time (as Wanderer/Scara demonstrates by letting his legendary material grade core be used to calculate the World Formula). Damage to the core can result in damage to the personality, as is the case of Chard Lombo who is actually Curve from Fontaine. At the end of the AQ, The Knave specifically mentions that Sandrone's last request was that both her core and Pulonia's be sent to Fontaine and *immediately* the characters just start talking about the possible backup plan.
Chances are she was the sixth character from the preview that had only five silhouettes intended to be visible. No way she gets the Signora treatment when she had so much focus in the AQ (compared to Signora who really hadn't had much screentime across three nations when she dropped as the new weekly boss).

also, while traveler and arlecchino are already considering sandrone may have had a back-up plan, they can't be sure even the best researches at the institute can take her core and succeed in building her a new body (or even fixing her previous body), considering she was originally created by John Engineering. it adds yet another layer to how impactful her death is and her eventual return will be, that it might be a historical feat of modern engineering in-universe.

Honestly, I'd be surprised if Aino wasn't brought in. Sure, Sandrone was built by John Engineering, but Aino basically figured out how to utilize a dragontech core into a robot built out of scraps from across the world.
Or just threaten the rebuilt Marionette that if she *doesn't* wake up, they're going to let Lynette poke her core. Repeatedly.

Weeeell... Arlechinno did take her and Pulonia's cores back to the Fontaine Research Institute so that her associates could "settle her affairs". Sandrone's one to have contingencies for contingencies and we know how important those cores are for who these type of automatons define themselves as individuals.
>!Remember "Curve"? Chard Lombro was built from it's damaged post-sacrifice core and she still has some memories of Talo**chard** and **Lombro**so, but can't recall more before overheating due to the core having been damaged.!< Pulonia and Sandrone's cores were recovered by Arlechinno right after they fell in battle, so there's a high chance that they are intact despite their bodies having been destroyed.
Yeah, she's 100% coming back. My bet is that the "invisible" silhouette shown in the teaser during the 6.3 live will be Sandrone's core in a new body.

I think she might have become my favorite character. I don't *love* her design, but she has the best voice/personality in the game. (Edit: I play in EN)

Genshin has a couple of tsundere characters but she's the only vintage tsundere, at least when you have Japanese voice over.
Her JP VA also started streaming Genshin on Youtube recently.

It's a pity they didn't save Chiori's JP VA for Sandrone.

Taketatsu Ayana would have been perfect.
