i heard that you shouldn't get the standard character cons, but im not really sure who else to get. everyone is r0 except hutao(lvl 95), xiao, ganyu, and klee.
Who told you that because you can get whoever you want because there's two more to get after this. Choose whoever you like/use the most and then you can pick your next used/liked the most for the next one and so on.

Albedo has a pretty strong C1 after the buffs. Nilou's C1 is some minor QoL (longer lasting skill) that gets you closer to C2 (RES Shred) on her next rerun.

Standard cons are for trying to eventually get the materials to lv100 a character. Nilou probably has the most value for the con if you plan to get lauma.

I get that but I don’t think the witch teams are on the same level as the lauma lunar teams and c1 Nilou is a big bonus for those. If the plan is to go for nefer then it’s not as useful. But if u c6 lauma or on field bina it’s really good.

Albedo is the obvious choice, but if you want to level up a character beyond LV. 90, go for Hu Tao.

You can get only one stella fortuna per character here anyway, so it's not so big deal if you choose some less good option. But I think that Nilou and Shenhe would be the most valuable options.

Get the con for the character you will actually use. Even if you do get a good con like Albedo/Nilou/Mona, if you don't use them it's meaningless.
If you care about meta, Mona cons are great of you use her in a Mualani team. Nilou is pretty relevant in the meta as long as you have Lauma. Plus it's one con closer to C2, her best con for bloom, assuming you want to try getting Nilou C2 one day.
Don't know much about Albedo and Klee, but I heard they're good if you want to use them as a carry.
I think you should consider standard character cons if you care about getting your favorite characters (or meta ones) to lv100

Nilou C1: surprisingly good, especially as a step to her fantastic C2. It’s the one I got first round and really like it. Nilou C2 is BIS with Nefer/Lauma/Bina team if you have that.
Yae Miko C1: decent, lowers her ER requirements I believe.
Albedo C1: he’s been slightly buffed, but people are overselling those buffs I think.
Klee C2: A good choice, gives her DEF shred and she has been buffed recently.
Shenhe’s C1 is OK, better if you have her signature, because with her sig she needs too much ER.
I would also not use this on standard characters unless you use them a lot.
