If it's irl moon physics, you just take like 6x less damage, but you can still die from repetitively falling. Damage is damage after all.
Shahadem2026-01-17 09:04
Not really.
If the force is not enough to break your bones then you haven't actually been harmed. It would be like doing jumping jacks.
HP is a nonsensical illogical stat with no meaning. Heck, plenty of games just use it as a way of cheating the player. Like bosses with multiple HP bars.
dearmusic2026-01-17 09:32
When someone jumps off a building at a lethal height, not a critical hit, of course, 1/6 of the force will not be a jumping jack, more like a metal bat swing.
Now, imagine that the bat swings multiple times, and the bones will eventually crack.
anarchy7532026-01-17 09:50
Oh yeah, that explains why after like half a day of walking around my legs randomly explode from all the repeated impacts of my feet hitting the ground, because it just added up to the force of jumping from 10 storeys up.
dearmusic2026-01-17 10:32
This sarcasm is ridiculous. Do you want to feel 1/6 of the impact from jumping off a 10-storey building with no terminal velocity to slow you down?
Not sure what your education level is, but let's do some simple math.
Gravitational acceleration on the moon is 1.62 m/s\^2
A 10-storey building is roughly 30 meters tall.
Impact speed v = √(2gh) = around 9.9 m/s = 35.64 km/h = 22.1457 mph
Now imagine throwing yourself at the wall at 22 mph multiple times, see if your bones "randomly explode".

Traveller survives Rerir's attacks, survives Dottore's confinement, survives being on the moon without oxygen.... but insta dies from fall damage
dearmusic2026-01-17 09:34
I mean, if you look at their HP, this suicidal traveller has been hurting themselves quite a few times already.

Being on the moon doesn’t mean you don’t take fall damage. If you jump from a cliff on the moon it’s still gonna hurt when you hit the ground.
amm0nition2026-01-17 07:51
Yeah, physics-wise, you can just calculate how big is your gravitational potential energy from that height but replace the earth gravity constant with moon's. Then you can judge whether it'll be enough to break your bones or in this case fall damage
Bruh_Momentum__2026-01-17 07:54
Some good ol’ PE = mgh

Heh, seems Sandrone isn't the only one Columbina has to worry about now.
WashedWolf42422026-01-17 08:24
Poor OP failed physics class.
Shahadem2026-01-17 09:02
Teyvat's Physics are as false as its sky.
The moon would need a gravity like Earth to be able to hold onto enough gas to maintain a breathable atmosphere.
FlameDragoon9332026-01-17 10:59
"Remaining revives"?? It's not infinite??
1997trung2026-01-17 11:28
Isn't fall damage in Teyvat calculate by falling time rather than height...
Like how you can give Jean more damage by place objects in a way that stall the drop time.
And by this context, fall damage on the moon is more lethal than teyvat itself due to the lower gravity
CresDruma2026-01-17 17:24
Maybe they just calculate height by falling time. The longer you fell the higher up you must have been. Usually.
GTaarPrime2026-01-18 07:10
Fall damage is determined by velocity and deals collision damage, DMG = (0.4 - 4/(2+ velocity)×Max HP, which is why Jean shenanigans work and that spot on the pipes in Nasha town where Nefer can die instantly from trying to sprint off of them.
ECVEN2026-01-17 11:51
It's called "Hit points" for a reason. You can survive from a falling meteor with 1hp then die to an insect bite.
