i got two copies of columbina’s weapon while pulling for ineffa’s polearm should i refine or can i use this weapon on someone else in future?
i dont have lauma or nefer rn but i might get lauma in future

Refinement is almost never worth it for 5 stars weapons, it can always serve as a stats stick for someone else even if only half of the passive may apply

No, seriously, I'm cursed by the bloody stick. Lost to it when trying to get Elegy. Lost to it while trying to get Aqua.
Between Homa and Cyno Paddle, I have no real use for extra Homas. It's a main DPS weapon, and usable main DPS polearm characters are more scarce than 5-star weapons. I just sighed and refined it. It's collecting dust most of the time because the only polearm main DPS I regularly use is Arle in a melt team that should be getting better mileage out of the paddle.
Honestly the question on who to use an extra columbina sig is pretty valid. It's a low base attack weapon with an extremely niche passive that is entirely useless for the vast majority of catalyst holders. I'd probably wait for some updated Nefer or Lauma spreadsheets. And for NK to end. Maybe we'll get another lunar catalyst, who knows.

i'm in the same situation lol, i pull R1 Homa on HuTao's rerun, then i got 2 more when pulling neuv's weapon (back when you still need 2 fate points to guarantee 💀)
Now escoffier is holding it R1 and Hu Tao is holding R2.

Pretty much. I got R1 for Hu-Tao initially, and then got 2 more for Elegy and for Aqua.
Personally I have a collection of Fav lances and find those to be better fits for supports.

They probably got the 2nd bina weapon after getting Ineffa's. I'm assuming in the same 10 pulls, because there would be no reason to pull more after that.

Always refine. if you are going to play long term there is no reason to ever make multiple of the same weapon lvl 90. Before I would say lvl up 2 homa but these days all character have their own weapon and it is pretty much niche to only them so I don't bother anymore

Some people are not meant to give suggestion, and you're one of them. Bina's sig is better than 4 stars for nefer or neuvillette, how will OP give them 5 star weapon if he followed your suggestion ?

Personally ik people say don’t refine as f2p but I would refine as a f2p. I would rather my faves be even the smallest bit better than maybe regretting it 2 years down the line w some random char. Plus I always budget appropriately to get c0r1 bc drip is life in this hood.
