How do I get rid of this stupid instruction thing?

It just appeared out of nowhere, and it won’t go away no matter what. I even tried closing and reopening the game.

I assume it’s related to a Nod Krai puzzle, but I don’t even know which puzzle triggered it.

All I wanted to do was explore around the abandoned lab, and suddenly that’s just there, permanently.

aha: "just tap q bro"

Oh wow, I should have thought of that.
It sure did nothing to help tho.

Had the same problem yesterday, persisted even after quitting out once. Wasn't there when I logged in this morning though. Sucks for exploration though. Maybe try quitting out more than once if one time isn't enough.

I figured out a solution.
Somehow going into the serenitea pot fixed the issue

serenitea pot counts as a coop area so whatever was persisting on your screen might have been something that doesn't function in coop or was actually unloaded properly, who knows. at least it worked.

Pretty sure it's for the puzzle where you pick up a yellow orb and drop it at a specific place to rearrange platforms so you can walk on it. That said, your current situation should not trigger it.

I'm assuming you tried tapping Q and it didn't work. You might have to contact customer support. Before that i'd suggest:

* Changing region, changing team to another template one, closing game (fully), reopening game, changing back to the team you had, going back to Nod Krai.
* Find another one of those in that map (that area has a few once you start its puzzle), finish its puzzle and see if that works.

I suspect that the game did not expect you to be there before starting the puzzle associated with it.

this happened to me as well, i exited to the title screen and it wasn't there anymore when i logged back in.

It's the puzzle where you have to make a goat cross a gap using a pathway you have to position correctly. It's in a cave. I think it's close to where you are in that screenshot
