idk if anyone else has been struggling with it but it's ridiculously time consuming

Are you mistiming the parry? The eyes die to a single successful deflect, it shouldn’t take much time at all

I'm guessing you misunderstood this mechanic like I did at the start. If you just time your attack and release kuuvahki blast right before their abyssal blast hits you, it has a parry effect and just instantly kills them. Otherwise you spend like 50 shots to kill a single one.

yeah, i only just encountered it for the first time it so i don't really understand where i'm going wrong... like i get that it has to be parried but it won't trigger even when i thought i did it right, lmao. thank you for explaining though

The time to parry is much earlier than you might assume based on the animations, its a little before the shot connect with your shield not when it actually hits the shield. You'll get the hang of it if you experiment a bit.

Lmao had a laugh. Just keep practicing. But you can hold the shield then released once the projectiles comes near you.

If the shield light up then its time to let go the button and its 1 hit kill. The timing is long so if you still can't do it then like everyone said skill issue.

It's just click and hold shield until the shield glows and let go when you see it light up. What bothers me is just how utterly overused and boring this mechanic is. Wow enemy, it didn't work the last 3 times you did it, why are you wasting your and my time doing it for a 4th and then a 5th? Just so boring.
