This Abyss was so easy I did my first ever double duo 36 star clear

Decided to try it for fun just to see if I could 36 star this rotation with my newly pulled Bina and Ineffa. All C0 characters except for my C2 Chasca and only one 5 star weapon(Chasca's sig). I don't even have Bina and Ineffa properly built yet, but they handled the second side with ease.

I'm gonna need you to be honest with me

I haven't bothered with abyss 12 for a while, not my favourite mode

Is this abyss this easy if you got the characters ?

Powerful_Occasion_262026-01-17 16:19

abyss is easy if you got the right characters, not necessarily the meta characters themselves

CosmicStride2026-01-17 16:26

I think this Abyss is pretty easy so long as you have two nod krai for the second half to deal with the lunar enemy mechanics. Doesn't necessarily need to be Columbina and Ineffa. Not that it's impossible without nod krai, just way easier. I've seen clears with f2p taser teams and such.

Ineffa and Bina duo is definitely worth considering though. Mine are still lacking in the builds, missing talent levels and using 4 star weapons and I've already seen the damage increase my teams have even outside of the abyss buffs.

That's interesting then

I got tricked by myself into pulling for Columbina weapon and got Ineffa weapon first, so I'll lazilly try to get Ineffa too if I win the 50/50 (let's pretend that I need more strong Electro for Theatre)

Honestly, my comment was more about asking you for details to check it it's bait (C6 kind of bait, I do have the first 3 at C2+ funnily enough), I guess I'll go grab the free primo mater in the month then, thanks

I have only C0 Bina and Ineffa. They're just a really strong core, I initially cleared this side with them and Raiden + sucrose. It's nice being able to use older units again, though I know the Abyss buffs help a lot. Considering how much they've shilled Ineffa for end game content so far, I don't think she's a bad investment at all. Pretty sure they'll be relevant for quite a while.

Oh, honestly, It's been a while since I pull for "meta" units, last one was probably the one Mavuika I won a 50/50 for.

The game really does get nicer once you just pull about what you like/is nice to play. Chasca overworld ability has been a game changer for me

I'll let the 50/50 gods decide for Ineffa and live with the result

CosmicStride2026-01-17 17:50

Agreed. Chasca is my favorite unit to play and I'm glad I pulled her. She's my only non standard C2. She hasn't left my team since I got her lol. I skipped Ineffa initially because I really wanted to guarantee Nefer(even though I don't have Lauma) I ended up liking Ineffa and Columbina through the story a lot more than I expected so was more than happy to pull for them now. I'm pretty much done pulling on nod krai until Nicole comes out. Good luck with your pulls!

this abyss is pretty easy, probably the easiest one in nod krai's entire cycle

undeadsasquatch2026-01-17 16:52

Yes, it's pretty easy. If you have Columbina slap her with any electro dps in the second half, I ended up doing a Varessa lunar charge team. For the first half, any solid team should work, bonus for charged attackers like Neuv and Nefer.

Environmental-Map5142026-01-17 16:49

Is the second half that easy without Lunar reaction?

CosmicStride2026-01-17 16:53

With the right investment and teams it's more than doable. But definitely not as easy If your clear time on the first half is slow for the floor that has the lantern guy. He wastes a lot of time with the double hp bar mechanic. Other than that, pretty easy since that side mostly just wants electro/hydro for the cactus and duck boss.

Yeah I've enjoyed everything about nod krai except how restrictive the characters have felt. Unfortunately I do actually love the majority of the nod krai cast so it's been hard having to pick and choose only a few to pull for lol. I pulled Nefer knowing full well she was way weaker without Lauma. I've still enjoyed playing her while exploring and using her in the Abyss regardless. Still, I hope they don't keep this trend up but I doubt it'll get better.

phaideibackshots2026-01-18 07:30

it really wants EC at the very least, it can still be cleared with bruteforcing, but you'll likely clear faster just using good characters in a EC team

irllyshouldsleep2026-01-17 18:29

I soloed one side of the abyss with Neuvillette as a f2p player lol. Easiest abyss in a long time.

CosmicStride2026-01-17 18:31

Nice! I'm enjoying this while it lasts, I'm sure we'll get some truly awful Abyss cycles to make up for this one lol

irllyshouldsleep2026-01-17 18:58

Last abyss cycle was one of the tougher ones I think
