Natlan characters feel built around movement more than anything else
One thing I’ve really noticed with Natlan characters is how much emphasis there is on mobility and momentum. A lot of them don’t just fight, they move constantly, reposition mid-combat, and turn traversal into part of their kit.
It makes the region feel way smoother to explore, but it also changes how team building feels compared to older regions that were more rotation- or setup-heavy.
Do you like this direction for character design, or do you prefer the more grounded playstyles from earlier regions ?

I really like that combat style.
It's more accurate to say Natlan is the Ring of Fire + sub Saharan Africa, though. Mualani and Mavuika are Polynesian, Ifa is a Yoruba ritual, Varesa is Zulu, etc.
It also makes sense lore wise, for Natlanese to do things in their own way - and I wish other regions lean into it a bit, Nod Krai kind of tried with Lunar reaction but they feel kind of meh.
The kits of natlan are honestly imo a true evolution of the kit design for genshin.
All these characters have kits that make them valuable for the exploration which is just as important to to game as the combat.
The ability, to jump, fly, climb and so on all feel very fun when it's especially tailored to the character kit instead of being an all inclusive component.
Help them also stand put with a unique identity amongst others.
It's probably great for those few people with godly reaction and coordination but for me personally, controlling the likes of Kinich and Mavuika when trying to hit stuff is just uncomfortable and frustrating.
It's why I like main-ing Wanderer who has mobility but doesn't make it hard to keep track of and keep up with enemies.
but man, for other regions? Ive got Varesa now and my God does she feel good to just throw yourself off a cliff and survive anyways, the fact the jumps off edges and keeps her momentum is just so good, even more when you learn that using her second charge on a inclined terrain before it expires makes her do a barrel roll and literally fly straight for a second lol
Free Durin.
Genshin sucks
how so? its literally the same thing you setup rotation and do damage, outside of Iansan movement really has nothing to do with damage
I would like to have natlan characters in every team I use- c2 Chasca is the character I use most in the game and value the most, even though she's not my favourite personality
kinich cannons shouldn't need constellations to ricochet, chasca should have at least ifa level aoe
the thing is aoe characters except childe riptides don't lose damage in single target but single target characters get slowed down a lot in aoe
now that aoe abyss is back and theater lunar mode has 2 new aoe stages, it's really inexcusable to give these main dps such small attack range
