I hope he gets a real burst animation eventually

I hope Hydro Traveler is eventually given the Cool Your Jets Ducky permanent. Sorry Aino, build another.

100% agreed. This was AWESOME during this encounter. And wouldn’t it be flippin’ sweet if there were varying Burst animations per element?

One can dream!

You know. After seeing how op hydro Traveler got after Columbina buffed the shit out of them I'm starting to develop a conspiracy theory that the og hmc kit was Neuvillette secretly using the opportunity to take the piss out on a Descender. I mean, come on, just look at it. It's literally an enshittified Neuvillette kit with a burst that does nothing but serve as a reference to something else.

I know in-game Neuvillette and Traveler are on good terms and the devs thought nothing more of hmc beyond serving as foreshadowing for Neuvillette's kit, but it's funny to think about.
