Please tell me he's dead

Even though the glitch at the end of the quest hints otherwise, I really hope he's dead. As much as I hate him, he's a truly awesome villain, exactly how I imagined the Harbingers (аnd the battle with him? Oh my god, Hoyo never disappoints). The main thing that makes me happy is that he won't be playable, because there's no excuse for such a bastard

He’ll be playable, don’t worry

Hopefully without a poorly written redemption arc lol. I need some shadow among my rainbow and glitter casts

esztersunday2026-01-17 20:29

Maybe.

He died but he also didn't die.

"I *died* in Nod-Krai, but I also *lived* in Nod-Krai!"

he still needs to [burn irminsul](https://youtu.be/TmaAOV4SJNQ?si=l0vygvBFt7pVorDr) at some point. thats confirmed. so, he’ll be back one way or another.

different segment. Also, that scene could just be a dream. Since he had Columbina next to him, and she's no longer with the Fatui. Somehow I can't see Columbina hanging out with him again after all that's happened.

Ploffers2026-01-19 14:09

the devs have confirmed that this scene will actually happen in game though.

lostn2026-01-21 13:59

then it's confirmed he has other segments.

It will be strange to see their explanation for why Columbina rejoined the Fatui and started palling around with him again though. After he kidnapped her and all.

Ploffers2026-01-21 20:18

those two events dont need to happen at the same time though. columbina likely spoke to dottore a while ago; he will burn irminsul in the future.

if he's playable and sandrone isn't someone is going to get hurt

lostn2026-01-19 09:29

no corpse, no confirmation.

Maybe HE is dead, but he had another segment somewhere out there.
