New F2P Player: Summon now or wait?

About 4 days ago I installed Genshin Impact. I made a post about it on this community when or if I should play this game or not and you guys highly encouraged it with very useful and kind tips. I am having a ton of fun, so thank you for the recommendation.

I've recently lost the 50/50 on a limited banner (for Ineffa, got Jean) and now I know that my next 5-star pull will be the banner unit.

**I would like to know: Should I keep going for one of these banners or should I save and wait for next banner rotation?**

I'm clueless on if I should rather choose Columbina or Ineffa, or if I should wait for the newest character next update or the other limited banner character. Any tips for a new player like me would be greatly appreciated. :)

It's usually the best idea meta-wise to pull for supports (like Ineffa, Furina, Columbina, etc) before going for a main damage dealer. This patch is giving out lots of rewards so you do have the possibility to get them.
Personally I'd get Ineffa because she deals great damage and shields your team, but you should also pull for the characters you like and then their supports right now

First of all I’m sorry you lost your first 50:50
Second Both are really strong

Hydro as an element is very versatile so I think you better go for colombina, from 4 stars xinque is the only real good hydro character, barabra as a healer is ok in som teams

Electro as a sub DpS element is also very good but unlike hydro we do have some very good electro characters like Fischl and Kuki (to a lesser extend Beidou)

That be in g said I’m not sure if you can level your characters if you got them now as they are in mod krai and I’m not sure if you can access it early on

There's an unlocked waypoint into nod krai so anyone can access it for character mats, just like fontaine and natlan do

Ineffa and Columbina are both high-value characters that slot easily into almost any team, especially for early game, and they're both strong enough that they should remain relevant by the time you reach endgame and have a bigger roster

Pick whichever one you like more, and keep rolling

I’d recommend Ineffa, she does a good chunk of damage and also has a shield so she can be used for a lot of things early game. She’s meant for lunar charged but is very versatile for different teams especially when you aren’t focusing on meta as much
