Anyone else feel like this AQ experience has been ruined by spoilers 🤦🏾‍♀️

I don’t know what it is about this archon quest but the spoilers have been thick and fast even when I do my best to avoid them!

I don’t even mean posts explicitly saying information from the quest or anything. But things like certain characters designs being released or certain clips being posted.

I’m still having those ‘my god!’ moments and tearing up at certain parts but overall, the massive reveals are like “oh yeah I knew that already.”

unfortunately with genshin being as big as it is, and especially during AQ patches, it is tough to avoid spoilers without staying off the internet until you finish the AQ

Yeah it’s a tough reality to accept. I do what I can and scroll away at ANY mention of Genshin it’s just crazy that people are releasing things like character designs for character that are a HUGE reveal. Like bruh. I wanted to gasp at that in real time 🤦🏾‍♀️😂

Then there is me who got spoiled without wanting to be spoiled about Furina's design. Her first official appearance was in the Overture Teaser released during 3.8, while there were leaks everywhere about her design back in 3.4!!! Half a year ahead they spoiled it for me! And when the teaser released I was like "oh yeah, there she is. Too bad I already knew how you look..."

In the end, you went on social media and saw those spoilers. Just refrain from socials after a release and play it right away.

It’s not plausible for everyone but then again, if you set aside all the time you would have been on socials in a day you can do a small part of the quest at the end of the day, especially since they added save points.

I can’t play the AQ all that time as my partner also play and hasn’t even done the first part of the AQ yet (I can’t with him). I have like one day a week I can play and that’s today 🤦🏾‍♀️ so I get what your saying but I not going to stay off my phone for 144 hours a week waiting until I can play genshin again.

I’m not mad about seeing spoilers. It happens! I just can’t grasp why people think it’s okay to spoiler certain aspects of the game.

Not really. I was spoiled in a way bc I wanted leaks etc for this update, but I played the patch as soon as it became available, and it is and continues to be consequential. Criticism would be Dottore being long-winded, but I discount it because no one is really engaging with him besides Sandrone.

When an update releases, I completely avoid Reddit and anything Genshin related on Youtube until I finish the major content. There are sometimes some spoilers that slip through, but it's generally pretty reliable.

I also use a browser extension that lets me block Youtube channels, and in the past I've searched "Genshin leaks", covered the thumbnails with my hand, and blocked every channel that pops up. I also block ones that post spoilers within a few weeks of the content's release.

when a new archon quest drops i just leave genshin subreddit mute a bunch of genshin related words on twitter and on youtube on genshin videos i press "not interested" and i avoid pretty much all spoilers.

The spoilers aren’t even Reddit! I’ve heard nothing from Reddit. TikTok on the other hand 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️. And it’s so hard to avoid because they start with a click bait-y live so I’ve heard the spoiler before I can scroll
